The salesman was very organized and efficient. He was very intent on selling me a 2004 Ford Focus, and it has proven to be the perfect car for me. As I have knee osteoarthritis, the high seats and doors that open extra wide make it very easy to get in and out of. The car needed quite a bit of work at first, but it was all covered under the 1-month warranty and the service department did a great job of fixing everything in a timely manner. I was given a nice loaner car for a few days. The car looks like new and is now in good condition. The financing arrangement was wonderful. My car payment is only about $123/month with 2.8 percent interest. The first oil change is free and state inspections are free for the life of the car. There is a great selection of vehicles. I have the sports edition of the Focus. It handles very well, is fun to drive and has great brakes. I feel very safe driving it. More

It was my first time at Merchants Auto. I called ahead to see if they still had a car I saw online. Rudy was very nice on the phone and told me the car was indeed still on the lot. The car was not really what I wanted. Too many owners and the last one sold it in 17 days. This made me a bit nervous. So I told Rudy exactly what I wanted and how much my loan was, which I already was approved for through AAA, at a very low rate. Well, not only did Rudy find me the perfect car, but he was able to get me a better rate on a loan! I was able to trade in my old "piece of junk" for $250 and spent $250 more than I planned for the car, but it was well worth it. The car is in great shape, has very low mileage, had one owner and is an adorable bright blue color! I did not want a boring color! It did take pretty much all day to do the paperwork, etc...and the total fees I had to pay to buy the car was about $300, so I had to add that to my loan. I think these things are probably typical though and all in all it was a great experience! :) More
