Our credit is a mess at this point in time, which is both frustrating and embarrassing. We were both very nervous and ashamed, fearing that we would be turned down for a loan. Bob Donati was a prince. His calming manner and obvious compassion, put my husband and I at ease immediately. Bob never once passed judgment on our credit situation and treated both of us with the utmost respect. He worked with Gordon Lewis to get us the best possible deal and within hours, we drove out of Merchants with our new 2012 Toyota Camry and a car payment we can afford. Merchants is the only place to go if you are looking to purchase a used vehicle. I was very impressed by Scott Rienert's positive energy and determination. I walked in with not so good credit and a recent purchase a used vehicle. I was very impressed by Scott Rienert's positive energy and determination. I walked in with not so good credit and a recent divorce but Scott was not deterred. He made me feel extremely comfortable and worked his tail off to get me in my 2010 Subaru Forester. We stayed in constant contact throughout the sales process and Scott promptly returned all of my messages. Scott had my loan and written agreement together in 2 days, so I showed up to Merchants, picked out a car and drove it home. It was that easy. Job well Done!! More

Sales rep was nice at the beginning but became very pushy quickly. I was told that $2000 was taken off the top of the price for the car. Come to find out the price he gave me was the same on price on the i quickly. I was told that $2000 was taken off the top of the price for the car. Come to find out the price he gave me was the same on price on the internet. THEN was told that my credit score was 630 and ended up getting a high interest price. Also was told that if I went anywhere else I was not going to be able to get financing. Come to find out my credit score is actually a 674!! (payments interest rate should of been much less) I could of been financed anywhere!! They claim to have the triple check guarantee? With checking prices for 100 miles for the lowest price?? THAT IS A CROCK!!!!!! Come to find out I could of got (at another dealer) the same care 1 year newer and with less miles for less than what Merchants was asking for the older one. I called on the Thurs prior to scheduled day of pick up and was told that all the paperwork has already been sent out and it was a done deal even though everything that I was told was a LIE!!. They also processed my check that I post dated 1 day early. I am calling the BBB and the Attorney Generals office at the beginning of the week. When I picked up the car it was not ready to take off the lot. There was trash left in the car as well. They also told me that I would have a full tank of gas. WHICH AGAIN THAT WAS A LIE. They only gave me 20.00 In gas WHICH DID NOT EVEN GIVE ME A FULL TANK, IN ORDER TO GET AN EXTRA 20.00 IN GAS I WAS TOLD I HAD TO GO ON THE INTERNET TO SAY SOMETHING NICE ABOUT THEM ON THEIR REVIEW SITE IN FRONT OF THEM , THEN I WOULD GET AND EXTRA 20.00 IN GAS.
