First off When I walked in the door, Mr. Carter greeted me and asked if I was here to see anyone specific. After finding a car that met all my needs and wants the real work for Mr. Carter and team had started. I have bad credit and didn't have a lot of money to put down but with that being said these guys put in the work to get me approved though a bank and got me into a great car. I dreaded the thought of buying a new car but this great team came together and made the whole process easy and efficient. Thanks again guys for all the hard work !!! My Wife & I gave Richard Interrante the rating of 5 because he went above and beyond in helping us select a car and helping us with financing for it. We went in with the intent on purchasing a 2005 because he went above and beyond in helping us select a car and helping us with financing for it. We went in with the intent on purchasing a 2005 Toyota Rav4 and left with a 2008 Toyota Camry XLE. He was very helpful throughout the entire process from initial greeting to going over what we could afford to selecting cars to test drive to securing funding on the car we selected. Richard is very good making you feel comfortable during the entire car purchasing process. We would strongly recommend Richard for future sales for us and we will strongly recommend him to our friends and family as well. The service center is always friendly and up front about repairs that are need, check in is quick and easy. My car is always ready on time or earlier when they say it will be done. This is my third vehicle I've purchased from Merchants and I have to say it get easier every time! On this visit my 10 year old Dodge Intrepid (also purchased at Merchants) had it's engine die Merchants and I have to say it get easier every time! My credit is not that great so I was a bit concerned whether or not they'd be able to help me. Andre was there to greet me as soon as I walked through the door and listened to my dilemma. He showed me the vehicle I was looking for and let me give it a thorough test drive (in the snow, no less!) while Mike worked on getting me the financing that would give me the monthly payment I wanted. Not only did I get the best car I've ever owned to date, I got it with a surprisingly low interest rate AND within my price range I requested. From the sales to the service center, I have yet to be disappointed in the customer service. I will not buy my cars from anyone else but Merchants. More
I received an e-mail this morning from this salesman asking me to rate my experience with Merchants Auto for my recent car purchase. About three weeks ago I purchased a used car from Toyota of Keene. The price was significantly below kbb, the salesman offered no B.S.. He even found a local service guy who would install our hitch for way less than his dealership would do it. About 4 or 5 years ago we purchased an auto from Merchants Auto. I don't remember if it was from this salesman. Our experience there was less than stellar. The salesman sold us a van saying that it came with a console between the two front seats (all we saw was a large empty area there). He even signed a I.O.U statement to that effect. When it came time to get this console, he adamantly refused to deliver. We did not fight him as we were just too darned busy to deal with it, but we did mention it when somebody called us asking us to rate our experience. Then the salesman had the nerve to call us back and complain that we gave him a bad rating! I suspect that he is no longer there, or he straightened up. The thing that erks me now is that I received this e-mail which seems to me to be a sneaky attempt to get me to rate Merchants Auto for the great experience I had at a different dealership. If I were not paying attention, I might have filled this in with a glowing response. Given my past experience with this dealership, I assumed foul play. Perhaps it was a simple mistake. If it wasn't then it is possible that Merchant's Auto is successfully diluting bad ratings through this scheme. More

When we bought the car, in an attempt to get a better APR we wanted to add myself with my wife and my Mother as a co-signer, they refused, I think it was to keep the APR high, so I was not happy about the sa we wanted to add myself with my wife and my Mother as a co-signer, they refused, I think it was to keep the APR high, so I was not happy about the sale (now my name is not even on the car) and I make the payments, the first (only one free) oil change went very well. Very professional. I do like the lifetime Inspections. However I hate making the payments every month without it being a part of my good credit. I also was not impressed with the final signing being with someone who we never met, and tried to upsell everything. More
My experience with Scott and Merchants Auto started when I spoke with him online using their instant messaging tool. We set up an appointment and I agreed to process the on-line credit application. At the time of the appointment, we were welcomed at the door and ushered to Scott's office. He was not pushy at all during the initial phase of our discussion, and agreed to get two of the vehicles we talked about and let us test drive them. We were allowed plenty of time to look them over and poke them, and the test drive was illuminating. We ended up taking home a car that afternoon, and every step of the way, Scott had the next thing ready to go and explain. There is, of course, a lot of paperwork, but Scott made it quick and easy. Truly, working with a professional who knows his business is a rewarding experience. More
