Will never shop anywhere else!!! I have damaged credit and have not been able to purchase a car in over 2 years.. I was turned away from every local dealer in our area. I called Dan I have damaged credit and have not been able to purchase a car in over 2 years.. I was turned away from every local dealer in our area. I called Dan at Merchants and he took care of me from the beginning. From the internet to the sales floor I didn't have to wait or do any worrying my dealer had everything ready when I got there including the loan that I was terrified I would not get.. because of this experience I will never go any place else to buy a car, we live 2 hours away and it was well worth the trip. I recommend my dealer Dan he was fantastic I appreciate all he did for me and my family.. Thank You Dan Adams Wonderful non stressful experience. More
Second car purchased here. Will be back for the next I have tried a few dealerships in the Manchester-Hooksett area. I visited Team-Nissan and they were not the least bit welcoming. It was a "get 'em i I have tried a few dealerships in the Manchester-Hooksett area. I visited Team-Nissan and they were not the least bit welcoming. It was a "get 'em in the door and put them on a worksheet" kind of shop if you know what I mean. We had already intended to visit Merchant's as the next dealership in line so we ended up there right before closing. I knew exactly what I was looking for and made it clear. I was met at the door by the sales manager, Miro, who was a very pleasant person. Our salesperson, Bob Donati, was excellent as well. His years in the business and his friendliness were more than welcoming. Merchant's does not deal in "fresh from the factory" vehicles which is fine by me because they don't stay that way very long in the first place. The vehicle that I ended up purchasing is a 2012 Hyundai Sonata with only 19k miles on it. The thing was in perfect condition. It may as well have been new. I will conclude by saying that if you are in the area and in the market for a pre-owned car in perfect condition and at the best price around you would be doing yourself a disservice by not shopping Merchant's first. Not your average Dealership I had had some really bad luck over the last few years. I had gone threw a divorce and a medical condition that had me off work for almost a year. I had had some really bad luck over the last few years. I had gone threw a divorce and a medical condition that had me off work for almost a year. The Pick-up I was driving had over 250,000 miles on it and was a breakdown looking for a place to happen. My heart sank when all I thought all I could get, due to credit issues, was a High milage Headache that someone else traded in for a high price and high interest financing for the overpriced headache from a company no one ever heard of. My situation looked bleak and I felt I had little options. A friend of mine told me about an ad on the radio for Merchants Auto Group. I was extremely sceptical. I took a ride over there thinking I was going to see another !00,000 mile car lot with a dealership staff who were going to try to talk me into a high priced vehicle that would not last me six months without a serious repair. I had little hope. I am still amazed at what I found. Merchants Auto group was Far more than I could have imagined or hoped for. I walked in the door feeling like I was at a new car dealership which at first left me to feel that they would probably laugh me out the door when I applied for a loan. My mindset was about to be permanently changed. The inventory was vast with a extremely large selection of low milage newer vehicles. The place was clean and had its own service shop and body shop. The feeling was that I was actually dealing with professionals and that everything was on the up and up was beginning to make me feel a bit more relaxed. The staff was far above anything I could have hoped for. I could not believe that my first contact when I walked in the door was the sales manager Miro. He spoke with me and actually worked to see how they could help. What a class Act. Miro was understanding of the situation. Miro did not pass judgement and assured me forn thr get-go that he was there for me and would work with me fairly and would do his best for me. And yes, the man kept to his word. Within 10 minutes he had for me a pre-approved affordable, reasonable financing for me with a reputable commercial bank. Then Miro had me work with Bob Donati. What a great sales guy. Another Class Act!!! Within an hour they had me in a car that I am proud of. Steve the finance manager then work my deal to get me even bettert terms and warranties so that I am covered and worry free about breakdowns for a long time. Bottom line, I was treated by the staff with dignity and respect, There was no judgement on the past, just exceptional customer service and a helpful, curtious, no pressure enviroment. I will never shop elsewere for a car again. Now I know were all the reputable used car sales people are. They work for Merchants. Sincerely, Jeff Chisar More

I walked into Merchants not planning on signing for anything, but thought that I would check out what they had. I had looked at their website the day before (great and informative site on the vehicles with lots of pictures) and saw a newer T&C that I thought MIGHT foot the bill, but never thought I would buy it. I am partial to the stow n' go seating, but went in with my list of what I definitely wanted on this vehicle, knowing full well that I did not have an urgent need for anything. I wanted a newer year model with low mileage, a roof rack, leather seats, power seats, and Sirius XM -- for certain. I was trading in a basic model Town and Country with nearly 148,000 miles on it that had been very good to us for 5 years, but the rust problems due to rural NH living had taken its toll on the underside of the door panels which need to be repaired every January for inspection. I had no idea what the trade-in value would be -- and since I still owed almost $6,000.00 on it, I wasn't sure that a deal would be made I walked in and met with Mike Amburg who after hearing my thoughts showed me to the 2013 Pearl Blue Town and Country (or as I call her Crystal) -- I think that he knew that I would be swayed by the incredible amount of luxury in this minivan. Back-Up Cam, Navigation, Blue Tooth and handsfree phone sync, Powerful sound system, DVD Entertainment System, Leather -- more power ports than I could ever imagine, stow and go roof rack (we have a canoe), Sirius XM, -- I can even listen to the something different than what the kids in the back are! So anyway -- the van had me at HELLO. He showed me to another 2011 T&C, but it was not even CLOSE to this van. We went for a drive. It was very smooth, and felt like a luxury car. Then it was time to talk turkey. I am a 40 year old teacher and mom who is NO good at the haggling, not sure if I am getting duped sales stuff. I am impatient, and cut to the chase. I don't like waiting, am very busy, and knew that I could walk away and be fine for another year with the 2007 I had, though I knew the trade-in value would continue to go down (or that's what I was told). The feather in my cap was unexpected. I was named 2013 NH Teacher of the Year, and it just so happened (and I had no idea) that one of my student's fathers is a general manager at Merchants. He came over and informed Mike of my accolades and that I was to be treated well -- like family. Mike worked with Adam Secore to get me to what I think is a solid deal. Because I have good credit, my rate was low, and I did take the bumper to bumper (though my husband wasn't so sure about that move...). Because I needed to get to a rehearsal and was running WAY behind, I rushed through the signing (I know -- bad move, but I had to go.) I am still not sure if the numbers worked in my favor or not, but I left in the loaner after making my appointment for my first oil change (which is free). They also do inspections free every year (very cool), and their oil change rates are great -- and include cleaning and fluid top offs every time. Anyhoo -- drove home in the loaner car set to pick up the new van the next day. I told Mike that I needed to pick it up by 3 as I had rehearsal at 6 and we live almost an hour away. He called me the next morning and gave me the status update on my van. They were giving it the big once over to check for any issues and they even did a glasscoat on the van so it is super pretty. (I AM a girl, after all...) Mike called again to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule and that I could pick her up around 2:45. I arrived at that time, and he was waiting with paperwork in hand with the knowledge that I needed to go. After a photo or two, we were on our way. He called quickly as I forgot my EZ pass in the loaner -- so I doubled back to grab it. Pulled the newly dubbed Crystal out of the lot and didn't stop smiling. I don't know if I paid what I could have -- could I have haggled more...was I taken advantage of? I will never know. I DO know that I felt comfortable, didn't feel pushed, feel that I was treated respectfully and I absolutely know that I am in love with this vehicle. It is the nicest I have ever owned -- and I think I deserve it. Any rushed decision was totally my part -- Mike would have taken a lot more time with me, I am sure of that. I am just a very busy person (as we all are) and it is a challenge to hang around a dealership with a rambunctious 4 year old! Thank you Merchants -- I look forward to continuing to do business with you through service and in the future. More
