I had a Nissan Sentra towed to Merchant Nissan after hours because the cvt transmission had no power rendering it non drivable. I called the service department the next morning and I spoke to a female to describe what happened with the car. That went fine. I received a notification by text later on letting me know the car had been entered into the system to be diagnosed and I could keep track of the progress by simply replying to the text. Well, I waited about half of the day and I replied about the status only to receive a call from the service manager I guess, in reference to that text stating that it would be two weeks before their transmission technician can get to it. He was going to be on vacation for a week and several cars with transmission issues were ahead of mine. Needless to say, I was shocked because I could have been notified about that sooner so that I could get it taken to another Nissan dealership, which I did that same day. I did not feel valued as a customer and that my time wasn’t important. I was very disappointed with my experience with the service department this time. I had my vehicle towed to another Nissan Dealership and had my car diagnosed the same day; repaired with a new transmission in a few days. You lost a customer. More
