Broke parts on my car Took my car in for a express oil change. When I got my car back they handed me a $2000.00 list of things to fix. When I popped the hood I could see someon broke it off it’s mount. I just filled it 2 week before I went there and it was not broken. They also wanted to replace several parts that were already replaced at a different Mercedes dealer. $587.00 for 4 spark plugs? Left a message for the service manager no call back! They also refused to reset my service notification on the car. I had already done the other items on the service B. More

Integrity tested Integrity. That's the watch word for this dealer. Keep it in mind. We purchased a nice CPO 2015 GLK in September of 2017 from this dealer. T Integrity. That's the watch word for this dealer. Keep it in mind. We purchased a nice CPO 2015 GLK in September of 2017 from this dealer. They came highly recommended. The purchase experience was great. We drove away happy. We purchased an additional warranty service contract marketed to us as "beginning when when the CPO warranty was done". We could choose to cancel it at anytime and if we did so before the CPO was up, it was not activated and would be 100% refundable. This was the pitch. We thought it was a good opportunity. It was a good opportunity for the dealer. We decided to cancel the additional warranty service contract before we had had the car a year and pay for service and repairs as we went along. That's was early August of 2018. I went to the dealer. I asked to file a cancelation and filled out form they required. I signed it and handed it in. In about 60 days our lender should see the funds applied to our loan. We gave it a while. Nothing happened. I returned to the dealer in early November 2018 to see what was happening. The paper work seemed to be lost. The dealer told us verbally that they resubmitted the cancellation on line and dated the request 8-22-18. I was sure I had been in earlier, but I went with it. By early January, it was clear nothing was happening. No funds were posted to our loan. We contacted the underwriter. They affirmed that no submission had been received, but they told us we could submit our request directly through them. We pulled the paper work together and submitted the request. The underwriter approved it and stated the remainder of the contract was at 82%. The refund would come from the dealer. We monitored the loan to see when the funds would be applied. Nothing happened. I visited the dealer again in person on this date 2-27-18 and asked to see the manager. I never got to meet the manager. After some back and forth with a business officer of the company (the closer at our purchase time), he informed me that the check had been mis-directed and was being returned and would be issued to the correct lender in the amount $3400. The face value of the contract was $7827. I was furious, called it xxxxxxxx and said I was done. I left the dealership. The moral of the story is that these fools (me and my husband) and our money were parted by means of carefully worded representations that we trusted were true and could not be easily described or understood as lies. They were just carefully worded statements backed up by an unambiguous contract. We did sign the contract. We are obligated to its terms. Legal recourse to fix our wounded wallets would be iffy at best. We will get some of our money back. That's a good thing. We also have a lesson hard won thanks to this dealership and their business practices. Let the buyer beware. Never forget it. Sincerely, Steve More
