My 1999 MB SL500 that I have driven over 225,000 miles (and always serviced at Westmont MB since new) was making a rattling, clunking sound. Though nothing was dragging beneath vehicle, I feared a part was loose and going to fall out! My service advisor, Brian R., had it in for service and gave me a loaner. I received a call from Brian that it was one of my catalytic converters that was broken (not due to tampering). Unfortunately, MB no longer made that part due to age of car. He recommended a small, independent, local Naperville business who could customize a part to fit and repair my car. I followed through having part replaced at the small, local business. Car hasn't run so quietly and smoothly in a long time. Westmont MB goes the extra "mile" offering exceptional customer service. I drive 25 miles from my home for them to service my car and will as long as it keeps running. BAVO to service writer, Brian, the mechanic that works on older MB vehicles, Lorraina phone receptionist, sales staff, and management.They all have listening ears and strive to do their best work. My husband and I were looking possibly to buy a new car. We went to a few other dealers, including Toyota, and when we stood on the lot, they did not even give us the time of day. Right away when we got out the car and started to look around the lot. Earl (who rhymes with pearl) met us and straightway offered a waterbotter and to the stay cool inside if needed. We looked at a few cars and test drove the GLA. My husband and I are not impulse buyers, so we went home to think it over. Earl gave us his card and later sent pictures of a black GLA because my husband wanted to see it but it was at the wash. We thought and then on Labor Day, we went back to Mercedes Benz of Westmont. Earl made sure to greet us tbrough the window as he was on the phone. Another salesman came out to let us know that Earl will be right with us. I am glad that we had a little extra time to look through the lot. Because I saw the GLB and it cought my attention. Then Earl came out with 2 water bottles as it was another hot day. We test drove and this GLB had a little bit more bells and whistles, fell in love. Earl was happy happy to show us all the cool features of the car. After the test drive, we went inside and Earl helped us look at numbers. We decided to trade in my old car. I must say that this was such an easy process. I was happy with the entire process of trading in and purchasing it was quick and easy for us. By the time it was over, we had our new GLB nice and clean just waiting for us to drive it away. We are very thankful for Earl and his service, and the rest of the Mercedes Benz of Westmont Employees. We will definitely be back when we are ready to purchase of second car. More

Tim the service writer was the most knowledgeable Technician I've worked with at Westmont or any dealer in any brand of car I've owned. When I requested a loaner car I was given a service date when a car would be available. The process was flawless. I was given a new model vehicle to drive, I kept it for 2 days, very nice car. About 1 year ago my car was in for service. No loaners were available so we were told a Lyft driver would take us to the dealership when our car was ready. The Lyft car was dirty and worn inside, the vehicle was noisy. The most recent experience was what we expect from M-B of Westmont, keep up the outstanding work. More
This is the second car we purchased from Tom. He found us the type of car we were looking for and we were happy with how quickly everything was handled. I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership earlier this year. The experience was not at all good. The salesman proved to be dishonest, refusing to forward the final invoice until we arrived at th this year. The experience was not at all good. The salesman proved to be dishonest, refusing to forward the final invoice until we arrived at the dealership, only to learn that the dealership had added to the vehicle two stupid "protection" gimmicks (sealant and some other idiotic thing), costing in excess of $1000. We had ordered the vehicle and waited a long time to get it (after many promises it would be arriving months earlier), but this was never mentioned before the vehicle arrived months later and was ready for pickup. My wife picked the car up and reluctantly paid the full amount due. When I later complained, the sales manager apologized, said that isn't how they do business an and promised me he would send me a check for a full refund on the two add-ons. He never did so, however, although he did ask me to remove my negative review on Google, which I refused to do. The sales manager's name was Mark Januszkiewicz. The salesman was James Fico. I don't know if the Sales Manager intended the refund to be a quid pro quo for removing the negative review on Google, but it sure seems that way. And in any event, the approach of the salesman was very, very unprofessional and downright sleazy. I would avoid this dealership and this salesman at all costs. Plenty of places to buy Mercedes vehicles. You don't need to put up with this kind of crap. More
