My car dealership experience was unsatisfactory. Initially, they played sales games, insisting on a non-negotiable $1295 charge for leather and carpet care. Despite agreeing on a purchase price, the sales contract errors led to a return trip as the contract said $1595. The other issue is I live around 40 miles from the dealership so haven’t gone back four times to complete this process is disappointing. Also, one thing that stood out to me is when meeting with the used car manager, he told me that he doesn’t even come out to speak to clients which was completely inappropriate. That’s not exactly how you wanna start a conversation with someone. The promised front bumper repaint wasn't done properly on the third visit. They provided a loaner, but even on the fourth visit, sticky residue remained, and small issues were overlooked. The dealership provided false information about mandatory add-ons, and my request for a $1295 refund has gone unanswered. When contacting Zürich, they advised me that any add-on warranty items are indeed 100% optional, which is not what the dealership told me so it’s not a good feeling being lied too. Later, I found out that the vehicle I purchased, was indeed a lease trade-in from another dealership so there is no way that it already had this sealant/leather/ carpet protection plan included/installed on the vehicle. Also, when coming back on the third and fourth visit, I had made an appointment with the sales rep to return on a certain day and time and both times I returned she was not there Resulting in more delays. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I won't do business with them again. More
