My last two experiences with the dealer have been subpar. I went in for a basic service (oil change and tire rotation). While there, there was no mention of brake wear. A week later I’m back at the dealershi I went in for a basic service (oil change and tire rotation). While there, there was no mention of brake wear. A week later I’m back at the dealership for a break inspection as my wear light came on. I purchased parts from the dealer to complete the job myself. Pads were very low and could have easily been seen during the fire rotation. Regardless, I bought parts from WC Benz dealer. The screws for the rotors were incorrect. I had to go out and get them mid job. Also when I asked to verify if there was one brake wear sensor or two, I was advised only one was needed. Of course I needed two. I had to reuse a sensor that was not as bad as the other. I would expect a little more attention to detail when going to the dealer. I could have saved money going to an independent Mercedes mechanic, but went to the dealer to support the manufacture. I will think about it before I go to the dealer again. More
