I recently leased a car from Walnut Creek Mercedes and I got the car delivered to me in Seattle last week. I was really excited about the new car but it turned out to be the worst car purchase experien got the car delivered to me in Seattle last week. I was really excited about the new car but it turned out to be the worst car purchase experience I ever had. First of all, the car has multiple defects: 1. The taillights were broken, there is a pretty large crack on it. 2. There are a couple noticeable scratches on the exterior and interior. I am leasing a brand new car and I’m definitely expecting the vehicle in a better condition than this. I double checked the video they sent me on shipping day, the crack and scratches were already there so this was not caused by the shipping. Secondly, they kept giving me conflicting information regarding the license plate. Initially I was told the car would come with a temporary license plate and I signed the lease with expectations that I could drive the car when it arrived. However, on the day of shipping, I was informed the plate would be sent separately after I received the car. After the delivery, they refused to send me the plate and asked me to wait for my local DMV. Who knows how long it will take? Lastly, I am very disappointed about how they handle the broken taillight. First of all, no apologies at all for shipping me a car with issues. Initially they did not admit it was broken before shipping until I showed them the walkthrough video. Then I was told the shipping company would take care of this. I am still not clear how this will be addressed as of now. I feel like that I paid for a brand new car price but got a used car condition and still now be able to drive it because no license plate is sent to me as agreed. More
