Exceptional Service I have been having problems with my motorhome for quite some time and because the trouble codes come and go I decided to take it in to get it check. S I have been having problems with my motorhome for quite some time and because the trouble codes come and go I decided to take it in to get it check. Sandra Rabie was my service advisor and she checked me in and got me a ride to where I needed to be. Once my vehicle was checked by the service tech she advised me of all the necessary services and repairs needed. Lucky for me after all work was done it came in a little less than the original estimate. The trouble codes came back after I dealt with my battery issue and Sandra asked me to bring it back so the tech could clear the codes. Service is always great at Mercedes of Temecula, we also purchased a GLA250 earlier this year and my wife enjoys the car wash service. Thank you Sandra for your help. More
Communication There was a "lack of communication" between me, the service writer and the mechanic. I am following up to get it straighten out. Also, for some reason the mechanic turned off my running lights? On the work report I asked "To inspect behind engine air filter for rodent damage." The mechanic noted "Found no rodent damage at this time." Unless your mechanic is only 2 feet tall I don't see how he could miss "chewed up insulation." I am making an appointment to bring it back next week when I come back from San Diego. More

I specifically requested a loaner car at that time. The person I spoke to said she couldn’t fit me in for a loaner until Monday. I then made the appointment for Monday. I saw my service advisor and then went to get my loaner. Guy said I wasn’t on the list and that I couldn’t get one because they were all reserved. I stewed a bit and went back to my service advisor To cancel my service. Service advisor walked me back to the loaner guy and told him that I was ok for a loaner. only then was I given a car. One of the reasons I bought a Mercedes was because you do loaners. My problem was not with Reza but your loaner guy who was of no help whatsoever. More

Tried to rip me off, then left work incomplete. I had a small fuel leak and took my Sprinter to the dealership to have the supply hose to the fuel filter replaced. After I got home I was told it wou I had a small fuel leak and took my Sprinter to the dealership to have the supply hose to the fuel filter replaced. After I got home I was told it would be over $390 and wouldn’t be done until the next day. Initially, the service advisor told me it was bulk fuel line (you know, the $1.50/foot stuff). I protested that the cost seemed exorbitant for a simple bulk fuel line already in plain sight, but they already had my van and I needed it fixed. He corrected himself and said it was actually not bulk hose, but a replacement part. I said ok and hung up. The more I thought about it, the more ripped off I felt, so I texted him and said I wanted them to retain the old hose: I wanted proof. Within minutes he called and said that he had talked to the service tech and it would actually be just under $200 and would be done within the hour. It ended up being a $47 pre-formed fuel line and enough labor to total $197. Had I not made a stink about wanting to see the hose, I believe they would have just charged me the original $390+. Then the following morning I took the van to a smog shop for a smog test and the tech showed me that the upper radiator hose was bent in an odd way and kinked. It was also just millimeters from contacting the rotating fan blades. The dealership service tech had removed the radiator hose retention bracket and stuffed the hose down out of the way in order to replace the fuel line. Then he forgot to unkink it and put it back in the proper location with the retention bracket. I wonder what he thought about having a spare screw when he was done. I won’t be visiting Temecula Mercedes-Benz again. More
