I did my automobile homework using the web and found what the automobile was selling for in the Sarasota area. I contacted 5 dealerships in west Florida and Mercedes Benz of Tampa was the first off the mark the automobile was selling for in the Sarasota area. The whole deal was negotiated without me going to the dealership or meeting Simon in person. After the deal was negotiated the other dealerships began responding (3 to 5 days later). Unfortunately their responses were too late and I had to tell them that the car had been purchased already. We waited about 4 weeks for the car to be built and subsequently picked it up. The car was exactly as agreed and we are as happy as punch. The dealership experience was positive as well. Simon was the same in person as he had been on the phone and on line. The other staff we met - the contract person and the customer service person were equally as pleasant and informative. We are so happy with the car, it was everything that was stated in the ad and there were no surprises. We just had our mechanic look at it and he told us it was in excellent condition.
