I recently brought my car in for a windshield replacement performed by a third party in the MB of T service bay. My intention was to rent a car for the day and return to work, but the rental car desk had jus performed by a third party in the MB of T service bay. My intention was to rent a car for the day and return to work, but the rental car desk had just run out of cars. The dealership's loaners were also depleted (and they typically only loan cars for maintenance and warranty work). When James Berger (my usual service advisor) and Bernie Freedman (my salesman) overheard that I was stranded with appointments waiting for me in the office, they went out of their way to obtain transportation for me. This example is typical of the MB of T's culture of excellent customer service. I have had uniformly excellent experiences at this dealership, which is why I have purchased five cars from them in the last nine years. It is also why I have referred friends and family to the dealership, including family from Sarasota who purchased a car at this dealership rather than in their home town because of the excellent service they received. All of my purchases have always been backed up by a great sales team (Bernie Freedman and Adil Zidouhia in finance) and great, caring service advisors (like James Berger), making it a natural decision for me to return to MB of T for future purchases and service. More
Best car buying experience I've ever had. Sales associate was knowledgeable and courteous and was willing to work with me and my budget. Simon was fantastic from the moment he greeted us to the time when he waved goodbye. His knowledge of all the lines was extremely helpful and really made the selection process much simpler. We are not fans of car salespeople tactics and are 'tough' customers. Yet, we were amazed and pleased by the terrific service provided to us by Zachary Kelley. His professionalism, sincerity and, ease with which to do business are the reasons we bought a car that day, from him. When we made an appt. at this dealership, it was merely to look and talk and continue our due diligence, as usual when we make a purchase. We walked in at 3pm and drove our new car out at 8:15pm that evening. In fact, the amount of time the process took was the only downside for us, it seemed longer than usual. But regardless, none of that is reflected on Zachary. A big piece of me didn't even want to go to Tampa as we live 50 miles away and visited the Mercedes dealership within our area, but now I'm very glad we made the trip. The Sarasota dealer experience doesn't hold a candle to the ease we experienced with Zachary. I wish we knew lots of people to refer to him. Certainly, we will, and have already, tell as many people as possible of our positive experience. Thank you Zachary! More
The meeting with the sales staff and the service staff was excellent right from the beginning. I cannot remember all the names of the people I dealt with at the dealership, but they all were excellent in was excellent right from the beginning. I would recommend anyone going through a car purchasing experience to feel the measureable difference when dealing with these guys. It is hard to find a dealership that not only takes care of your vehicle -the way you would want them to, but they look out for you too. The quality of work is excellent, and, when I go to pick up my car, it has been washed and vacuumed! I have bought 3 cars here, and the prices have been BETTER than competitive. I am so glad I have found a place I can trust the salesman, and, the service department. I highly recommend you do business here. More

MY COMPANY SUGGESTED THIS DEALERSHIP AS A WORK PERK (REDUCED PRICE) SO I SENT AN EMAIL WITH AN INTEREST TO LOOK AT SOME OF THEIR USED VEHICLES. I GOT TONS OF EMAILS/CALLS BUT I DECLINED AFTER I FOUN (REDUCED PRICE) SO I SENT AN EMAIL WITH AN INTEREST TO LOOK AT SOME OF THEIR USED VEHICLES. I GOT TONS OF EMAILS/CALLS BUT I DECLINED AFTER I FOUND OUT THERE WAS NO WARRANTY ON THE CARS I WAS INTERESTED IN. I CONTINUED TO GET EMAILS/AND A CALL FROM KEITH ANDERSON WHO SAID HE HAD A CADDY I MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN SO I DECIDED TO GO TAKE A LOOK SINCE IT WASN'T FAR FROM WHERE I WORKED. I MET KEITH AND WE TOOK TWO CARS OUT FOR A TEST DRIVE, A CADDY AND AN INFINITY. I DID NOT HAVE MUCH TIME SO I SAID I WOULD RETURN WITH MY BOYFRIEND THE NEXT DAY. I ASKED KEITH IF HE WOULD BE AVAILABLE AND HE SAID HE WOULD BE THERE FOR SURE. I STOPPED BY THE NEXT DAY AND WAS GREETED BY THE STAFF (3/4 COLLEGE AGE GREETERS WHO SEEMED BORED OUT OF THEIR MINDS BUT NONETHELESS POLITE). KEITH WAS NOT AROUND. THEY ASKED IF I HAD AN APPT, I SAID I MET WITH KEITH THE DAY BEFORE AND HE SAID TO STOP ON BY ANYTIME HE WOULD BE THERE. HE WAS NOT. AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF CONFUSION THEY SENT ME TO SPEAK WITH MARK TADILI. WE TOOK THE INFINITY OUT FOR A SPIN AGAIN THEN CAME INSIDE TO START SOME OF THE PAPERWORK AT MARK'S INSISTANCE. THE WARRANTY WAS SEPARATE SO WE WERE TALKING ABOUT $29,000 FOR THE CAR AND ANOTHER $2/4 GRAND FOR THE WARRANTY, NOT CHUMP CHANGE BY ANY MEANS. MARK ASKED FOR A DOWN PAYMENT AND I WANTED TO SEE HOW MUCH THE FINANCE COMPANIES WOULD LEND ME FIRST SO I SAID I WANTED TO PUT DOWN AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. HE LOOKED DISAPPOINTED AND TOOK THE APPLICATION TO HIS BOSS. I EXPLAINED MY CURRENT CREDIT HISTORY WASN'T THE BEST BUT MY CAR LOAN WAS IMMACULATE AND ALMOST PAID UP WHICH IS WHY I WAS IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW CAR. A FEW MINUTES LATER MARK COMES OUT AND SAYS, OK WE'LL CALL YOU TOMORROW. I GOT THE FEELING THEY DID NOT WANT TO WORK WITH ME. NO ONE CONTACTED ME THE NEXT DAY. I TRIED TO REACH KEITH WHO ANSWERED COLDLY AND TOLD ME TO CHECK WITH MARK. I CALLED AND GOT MARK'S VM. I DECIDED TO TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO KEITH AND MARK. YOUR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE LEFT ME OPEN TO PURCHASE A WAY NICER/NEWER/TOP OF THE LINE CADILLAC, AT BETTER PRICE, FULLY LOADED WITH A WARRANTY JUST A FEW DAYS LATER. I WOULD DEFINITELY TELL ANYONE CONTEMPLATING PURCHASING ANY CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP TO SERIOUSLY CHECK THE REPUTATION OF THE DEALER. STAY CLEAR FROM THESE TWO, OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN MAKING A DEAL IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF CASH TO PUT DOWN AS SOON AS YOU VISIT. OTHERWISE IT'S NOT WORTH THEIR TIME. After having My Mercedes C350 apprised later on that day the price on the Tacoma was changed to 28,700. I sat in the Finance Managers office to see if I could get the payment I was looking for, that’s when I was told they were selling me the truck for 28,300. I was so shocked I said “hold on I was under the impression that you were selling me the truck for 25k” they told me that it was missed priced and at 28,300 it was a one-dollar deal. I was baffled when they told me this I said there is no way you give me a $500 discount and only make one-dollar, there is no way you could stay in business, “ they looked at me and said I know its hard to believe but its true” and making me feel like I was crazy for thinking this way. I left because I was so upset. That night I received a message from the salesmen stating he approached the GM and he honored the price that was originally put on the truck that morning and would I still be interested in the deal. I said let’s see what the payment would be and go from there. The next morning the salesmen called me and said that the payment would be 509 for 72 months with 0 down at 5.49 APR. I did some research on the deal as far as gas mileage and so forth, the price on the truck online was still 25,201 so I printed it to take with me. After all this I still wanted the truck, so I said ok have the paper work ready I should be at the dealership at 3pm. When I arrived the salesmen was busy with a customer so I waited with my wife and newborn son. I was not seen for an hour after arriving, when I sate with the Finance Director. He told me ok your payment is going to be 535 a month, I said hold on I was told the payment would be 510. He told me, “oh I could tell you what happen, your trade-in is a lease and you do not get a tax break for a lease.” I told him I am aware of that and I am not a finance manager how does that get missed, this is the second time someone misses up and I the customer has to fix it.” He sat there and said ok what do you want to do, and just waited for me to say something. I looked at him and said I don’t know what you want me to do, why should I have to compensate for being miss lead. He stepped out of the office to talk to someone and came back and said, “ya Im sorry we cant do anything.” I was so upset I left. I do not understand what kind of policies and procedures this dealership works by but I do not think customer service is a top priority. I was mis-lead twice and I am sure that the people responsible for the false advertising have not been reprimanded. I would just hate to think that others have had similar experiences. You would think a reputable dealership like Mercedes would be more organized and take responsibility for their actions. More
