NEW 160K CAR DELIVERY EXPERIENCE I don't know where to begin. This story is still hard to believe, and it happened to me just days ago. I purchased a brand new $160k Mercedes G63 tr I don't know where to begin. This story is still hard to believe, and it happened to me just days ago. I purchased a brand new $160k Mercedes G63 truck. Picking this vehicle up from the dealership should be one of the greatest days ever. THIS TURNED PUT TO BE ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES WITH A RETAIL SHOP OF ANY KIND IN MY LIFE. Upon inspecting the vehicle in the client delivery bay, a truck that I had yet to sit in, I noticed what appeared to be a scratch or imperfection in the front bull bar. I pointed this out to the Assistant Manager of New Car Sales (Shawn Gibson,) who had a porter see if it was something that could be cleaned off. The porter informed me that it was not something he could clean off, that it was indeed a scratch or imperfection. I called Shawn back in and this was his response upon learning that it was indeed a scratch or imperfection- "We will be happy to take the car back, but we aren't fixing anything!" I was astounded, you would expect that an authorized Mercedes dealer selling a brand new Mercedes would want to deliver a car in perfect condition. His second comment was even more astonishing, "this truck is worth 20k more than what we sold it to you for., so we are fine if you return it to us." This was his rational for how he wanted to deal with the situation. JUST INSANE. I informed him that I would be leaving a review on Google or Yelp I then asked to speak to the manager. The New Car Sales manager was out, so Brian Hughes the Used Car Sales Manager then came storming into the room in a very aggressive manner. He almost broke the glass door as he came into the bay and got right in my face screaming with his arms flaying. I feared for my safety, not knowing what was going on. He screamed about how I dare be upset about the condition of the car and the very mention that I might leave a negative review, after they had sold me a truck (which I had on order for over a year with an agreed $2500 off,) when they could sell the truck for 20k over sticker. He confirmed that Mercedes St Louis would fix nothing and my only option was to return the vehicle. I ended up taking the truck to Plaza Motors Collision (who could not have been more professional) who confirmed that it was indeed a defect and that it will be covered under warranty. More
Worst service ever I took my car in for an oil change that was overdue. The computer never registered that it was due. I asked the service advisor to have them look at t I took my car in for an oil change that was overdue. The computer never registered that it was due. I asked the service advisor to have them look at this computer problem. He ignored this issue but tried to up sale me on $500 worth of service not covered on the maintenance agreement. They told me the car was finished but when I got there and asked about the computer issue the service advisor said they just reset the oil change indicator. After I questioned this they checked it again and turned out the computer had a problem and they needed to reprogram it. After sitting in his cube for 50 minutes they finally got it taken care of. This issue should have been addressed during the service not after I was told to pick up the car. Needless to say I won’t be taking my car back to this dealership. More
Exceptional service I had not planned on going in to this dealership because of the overall ratings however I am glad I did, I met Mrs Chris Storm I'm grateful to God for I had not planned on going in to this dealership because of the overall ratings however I am glad I did, I met Mrs Chris Storm I'm grateful to God for this lady and I am grateful to her, for her time, her talent and all her hard work and dedication she put forth in helping me and making me feel like the most important part of the dealership which was a great feeling This lady is so genuine, kind hearted and professional, I'm not sure what goes on behind the scenes when working a deal however even when the news was not good news I love how she handled everything from beginning to end her presentation was excellent she did an exceptional job taking care of me and I appreciate her phenomenal service... most importantly I will return. Thanks Mrs Chris Storm for your hard work and dedication I know it's not always easy however you are doing an phenomenal job which is expected from such a phenomenal woman keep up the great work... The people were responsive at first but they lost interest and disappeared the moment i mentioned the word "negotiate the vehicle price". Strange eh? More

Everything went super smoothly and he was very attentive to details and quick to respond to any questions. I'd never bought a car by long distance before but the car arrived last night and it was absolutely perfect. I would definitely do business with them again. Highly recommended! More

Disappointed customer Long story short. Bought 2007 clk550 amg 4 years ago from brother in laws estate.(original owner). About 80k miles on it and I have only put on an ad Long story short. About 80k miles on it and I have only put on an additional 6 k miles. 2-3 inch pile of service records from these guys when they were in Ellisville. Since I've had the car I've had one or two services at Plaza, Nothing major. Thought I'd try them now that they're on Hampton. Great service rep. Great service shop manager. But I spent just shy of $1k to have de laminating radio replaced Not exactly a wear item and well documented problem for this vehicle. I asked for some partial offset or consideration. Parts manager acted like since I wasn't a "loyal" customer I could take a flying hike. How much service could you expect in 6k mile? I do my own maintenance to the extent I can. MB customer care got involved and with dealer stated they would refund $300. Great I thought. That helps. $100/year radio to keep it stock assuming similar performance... Well. That was in November. Now getting to end of January. Nothing. Go figure right? I'd shop around based on this experience. Sorry to submit this because this business seems to want to be first rate. More

My recent visit was to get a price estimate on my Mercedes and I received somewhat what I had expected. Tri-Star's service has always been good. I have a low mileage vehicle and they are willing to work with me on the necessary services based on mileage instead of time (which the reminders on the vehicle pop up). I would use Tri-Star again if I buy another Mercedes (two so far). More
