“I live 1100 miles away from Spokane in Nebraska . . I saw a truck advertised that I could use so I sent an inquiry for more info on the Autotrader site .. He was very on the ball yet not pushy at all ., He and I got a deal put together over the phone.. keep in mind I was taking his word for everything over the phone .. A few days later I wired the money and sent one of my employees to pick it up and drive it home .. When it arrived I gave it a good inspection and found it to be exactly the way he described it to me . I’m an “upfitter” as in I buy HD diesel trucks and then I install a flatbed or utility bed or what ever the customer on my end wants on it.. So I do this 40-50 times a year .. And I normally try to buy my used trucks private sale because I don’t like the “run around” and the dishonesty that is usually connected to buying at a big dealer .. Not only did I lose a significant portion of my investment, the entire time I owned the vehicle it was nothing but problems; check engine light came on 6 times before they were willing to fix and I drove 5 hrs each way, took 6 hrs to repair, and I got in the car and when I started it sounded like a tractor and rumbled every time I started it. A/C system was broken off the lot and took 4 service visits and 6 weeks to repair. My partner and I, through our businesses, have purchased several new vehicles from this dealership and I trusted they would be honest when I decided to buy a certified preowned from them. It has been a financial nightmare and has caused me significant trust issues. I sincerely believe I was taken advantage of. I will never do business with this dealership again. More
