Our Service Department is currently very busy and we try to get all the work done with all clients in the fairest way possible. I understand that you are unable to predict when a check engine light will come on however, our non-appointment services are looked at in the order they come in. We understand the frustration and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with the 5-star Mercedes-Benz of Southampton service we strive to provide every guest.

Dear Sir, Thank you for responding to my email so promptly. I understand the pressure your dealership is under during the summer, but your response was awful. I was told that I would have to wait to get an appointment. Six days later I still couldn’t be provided with a date. When I picked up the car I overheard a customer talking to one of your manages about their car having a problem and they were told to bring it in and they would be treated as an emergency . After I picked up my car from the dealership, I brought it to my local repair shop and within 10 minutes had the problem diagnosed by a computer that runs a whole battery of tests. The part was ordered and hopefully, the car will be ready by tomorrow. All you had to do was do a quick diagnostic test and tell me that the car was safe to drive and I could have brought at a latter time. It is quite obvious, that if I didn’t buy the car from you, I would have to wait a long time to get the issue resolved. I own 3 Mercedes’ and my next car may be an Audi or BMW. As a side note, I went to Southampton for a quote on a new ML350 and the salesman quoted me $2500 higher than a dealer in Long Island City. When he called and asked me if I made a decision, I told him that I went with another dealer. His answer was, we could have matched the price. A few dollars different is not a big deal, but I think the salesman reflected the attitude of the dealership. I plan on having the car repaired locally and submitting the invoice to Mercedes. Hopefully, they will make good on the warranty. If not, it may be the last Mercedes I purchase,
