This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had to deal with. The salesperson lied about the condition of the vehicle, and then refused to respond to me when I brought it to his attention. The had to deal with. It took over two months to get the title to the vehicle. Nobody knew how to begin the process to get registration and plates out of state. Perhaps worst of all, when I brought all of these problems to the sales manager's attention, he referred me to the salesperson who continued to ignore me. This place will take your money and run. Service remains awful even after multiple chances. I've used this dealership a few times over the past couple of years as it's the closest to me. I've never had a good experience with them. I posted a poor review about a year ago, and was responded to by a manager who shared that they were having challenges, but assured me that they were getting better. Fair enough. When an opportunity came about to schedule service, I figured I'd give them another chance. This sadly ended up being a poor choice. Nothing has changed. The issue I'm having has been lingering since October of 2022. I've had multiple visits to the dealership and with their online Mercedes Me Connect support. The latest iteration is when the online support said they had a solution for the issue, however, I'd need to schedule an appointment at the dealership. I did that and arrived this morning to have that service performed, The lady who parked me and the gentleman who checked me in were awesome. They called Nigel out to meet me and that's where it went sideways. From the minute Nigel showed up, you could tell by his voice and body language that he had no intention of being helpful. His attitude was spectacularly poor. Nonetheless, I explained the issue, and shared the email from Mercedes support that explained that they had asked me to set up the service appointment and that they were to reference the shared case number for further information and directions on a possible solution. Nigel told me that his techs "don't mess with the app". Great - now what? He made a phone call in front of me asking what to do, and then asked me to follow him to the front desk where he asked the receptionist if someone from concierge could help me. I explained to him that the ticket had been opened for more than a year, and that I had made multiple visits to the concierge with no result. I was told I could wait until someone came in that could help me. I chose not to wait but to leave the dealership and shared with Nigel my opinion of his poor attitude. I have come to terms with the facts that this issue won't be resolved, and I need to move my loyalty to another brand. I know this sounds like words said in anger, but let me give an example of how it's not. I literally bought a new car for my wife a week ago. Prior to this long and arduous experience with Mercedes, there would have been no doubt as to what brand I was buying. It would have been a Brand New Mercedes GLC. However, due to the poor service, and challenges I've had, we bought an Audi Q5 instead. That's real money lost for them due to their poor service. I firmly believe in second chances and process improvement. In this case even third and fourth chances, but with Mercedes, never, ever again. I'm already looking to trade in my current car for another brand so that I can put this, and them behind me. STAY AWAY FROM MERCEDES OF SOUTH ORLANDO! More
