James expertise as a service advisor is Barr non the best ever. I say this because he is passionate about his work. I recently purchased a car from Orlando, Florida Mercedes June 8th of this year. I drove the car for a month before the 1st issue started to happen. I got stuck in a parking lot because my car did not star June 8th of this year. I drove the car for a month before the 1st issue started to happen. I got stuck in a parking lot because my car did not start. My car goes into the shop for 1 Month!!!! Some type of battery that is not in stock so we had to wait for the part to be shipped in from another country.. I get my car back on July 8th again a full month later.. I drive the car now for a month and a half until now my car stops in the middle of heavy traffic and MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKS August 24th!! My car then goes back into the shop.. I get a loaner vehicle delivered to me that was defective. Upon driving the car the right front tire blows up.. I then have to get this vehicle towed to to the dealership in which I now had no car for the full weekend. Upon arrival of picking up the car I am told they can not release the loaner vehicle until I MAKE THE PAYMENT!!! I get a call from the service rep from the dealership saying I have a bad fuel pump. How is this possible on a 4 month old car. The service rep then tells me unfortunately he does not know when I will be getting my car back because this fuel pump cannot be found anywhere and to just deal with this loaner vehicle.. I am paying $1900 a month for a car in which I get a $400 dollar loaner to replace it.. I have uber charges, missed work and a huge headache. The service advisor and selling agent of mercedes are both very unresponsive and I am getting very impatient with this service from mercedes More
This review is about their service department. I took my SUV for a scheduled service B. They replaced the windshield wipers but for some reason it was making a lot of noise, they asked me to take I took my SUV for a scheduled service B. They replaced the windshield wipers but for some reason it was making a lot of noise, they asked me to take the car a second time but they still were not able to fix. Also every time I am there I feel they doing me a favor by servicing my car. They don’t wash or vacuum my car and when I did ask about that they give it back to me with dirty windshield worse than how it was…the windshield wipers problem has not been fixed yet and I have not heard back from the dealership yet!!!! I forgot to mention that last year they put a dirty tire in my trunk on top of my clothes that I was taking to the cleaners. More

AT LEAST MB SO WAS HONEST IN ADMITTING THAT CAR MAX WILL PAY MORE FOR YOUR USED MERCEDES…and no, I do not work for or have any reason to promote CarMax. MB SO’s unsolicited marketing that they will pay “top PAY MORE FOR YOUR USED MERCEDES…and no, I do not work for or have any reason to promote CarMax. MB SO’s unsolicited marketing that they will pay “top dollar” and “above market value” for my vehicle was admittedly and demonstrable false. The approached me (unsolicited) with a desire to make an offer on my 2016 SLK 300. MB SO’s $22,000 offer was $2000 less than the lowest offer I have received to date (Dealers and Private Party), approximately $2400 less than KBB trade-in value, approximately $7000 below KBB private party value, and $6000 below a private party offer that I recently turned down. When I responded to their low-ball offer that even CarMax offered $5000 more than the MB SO Sales Rep specifically told me that CarMax can offer me more because CarMax is a “national” outfit and that MB SO is “only local”. So there you have it - straight from MB SO…no reason to waste your time trying to sell your used Mercedes to MB SO. Avoid the hassle and go straight to CarMax or any other reputable dealer of your choice. More
