Negligent Service Department I took my car in for "B" service which includes an oil change. The oil pan drain plug was not tightened correctly resulting in oil leaking all over my I took my car in for "B" service which includes an oil change. The oil pan drain plug was not tightened correctly resulting in oil leaking all over my driveway. When I called Mike to report the problem, he told me that I shouldn't drive the car back to Mississippi (I live in New Orleans) & that he couldn't have the car towed back, so I should take it to Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans, & that they (MS) would cover the cost of the service if it was related to the oil change. The issue was directly related to the oil change in Mississippi, and, in spite of numerous phone calls and text messages, I have not been reimbursed for the service in New Orleans. I also had asked Mike to have a recall issue taken care of while my car was there, and when I took it to the New Orleans dealer for the oil leak, they asked if I would like to have them address the recall as well. Apparently, Mercedes-Benz of South Mississippi was completely negligent in addressing the recall! Thanks to Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans & Nikkolas Mena for correcting the problems that Mercedes-Benz of South Mississippi either created, or did not address.at all. More
