I just spent almost $2,000 getting annual service on both of my Mercedes vehicles. I was shocked that neither vehicle was washed. It seems the dealer is using COVID to cut staff and save salaries. Prior to of my Mercedes vehicles. I was shocked that neither vehicle was washed. It seems the dealer is using COVID to cut staff and save salaries. Prior to COVID, car washes were complimentary. Now, the shop that sells and services the brand whose slogan is “the best or nothing” is now firmly in the “nothing” camp. It also seems there has been a top level management shakeup in recent months. Perhaps they are trying to impress owners with cost cutting efforts? I’m sure the other Benz stores in nearby Louisiana and Alabama are washing their clients cars. More
