Kevin and the others in the service department seem to go out of their way to makes sure that things are done in a very professional manner and on a timely basis. Tried to go cheep and get some major service done at a private shop MBV in Charlotte. $3500 later car is still not right - I called Kevin who can to the rescue. They replaced all of the parts from MBV wit private shop MBV in Charlotte. $3500 later car is still not right - I called Kevin who can to the rescue. They replaced all of the parts from MBV with correct BENZ parts and gave me a one time break on price since I already paid the $3500 - car now runs great and I have learned a valuable lesson. Kevin LaPlanche in the service department is the best person I have ever worked with in the Automobile Industry, period. More
Excelent experience with Nance (Sales) and Joe (Finance). Nance convinced me to como over to Charlotte eaven so I had other option in the Atlanta area where I am from. She made photos and videos with her BlackBerry and send it to me prior to be publicated in the internet. Negotiation was very serious and always friendly. Let me start off by stating that I have a fondness for Mercedes! That said, living in Ballantyne, its very nice to have the dealership near by. But product and convenience alone did not compel me to purch Mercedes! That said, living in Ballantyne, its very nice to have the dealership near by. But product and convenience alone did not compel me to purchase another car from them. No... the reason I purchased another car rests solely on relationships I have with the people there. Nancy (and this is my biased opinion), is a superior saleswoman! She not only keeps me as a warm contact by dropping a line here-and-there... but, every time I enter the showroom, I'm greeted by her with a warm and friendly demeanor (with legitimate concerns for me and my family). Her extra steps to make me feel welcome above all else (not just making a sale), is the ONLY reason why I will continue to purchase vehicles from them. Side note, Ken is fantastic as well! He is very articulate in his presentation and I thoroughly enjoyed the brief time we spent talking. More
My wife went in to have some warranty worked done on her E320 and during her visit; the service advisor told her that the two batteries needed to be replaced. My wife was juggling our two children at the t E320 and during her visit; the service advisor told her that the two batteries needed to be replaced. My wife was juggling our two children at the time and agreed to let them replace the batteries. Then she received an invoice for $677.97 for the two batteries. When she informed me of the charge, I called a local technician and asked him what the charge would be to have the same work done. The cost of the batteries was $230 + $65 for installation. So the total cost would have been $295 vs. the $677.97 that we paid. I wish I could say that this was an isolated incident. We returned for some additional warranty work last week and our service advisor informed us that we needed new shocks and that they had been damaged by the issue that we came in to resolve. This time we got a second opinion and learned that the shocks didn't need replacing and that there was no way that they would have been damaged by the issue we came in to resolve. Needless to say, we will not be using them again in the future and do not recommend this dealership for service. More
