I took my car for service on Nov 2, 2023, the service advisor Cesar gave me estimates. I reviewed and decided just to do #K, and agreed $4455.96 for replacement 2 of the Front Airmatic Suspension Air Str advisor Cesar gave me estimates. I reviewed and decided just to do #K, and agreed $4455.96 for replacement 2 of the Front Airmatic Suspension Air Struts(I asked why I can’t just replace 1, he told me I must replace 2). A few days later, Cesar contacted me, they were unable to find the original parts, have to use off-brand ones, so they gave me a discount, at the end I paid $3257.91 on Nov 9. After I drove my car home, I found out the back Airmatic Suspension Air Struts were leaking air(they were no problems before, the technician checked and not recommended to replace). I contacted Cesar on Nov 10, he told me to bring the car back on Nov 14. They told me they didn’t touch the back Air Struts and they will charge me $3772 again to fix the back problem. I don’t want to keep wasting money, so I requested a 50% refund for the previous repair since they didn’t fix it properly. I went to talk to the manager in the morning on Nov 17, and she denied my request. I picked up my car in the afternoon, and asked Cesar to give me the brand of the parts they used, and found out they just replaced 1 Air Strut, not Qty 2.00 clearly described on the estimated paper #K. Not an honest dealer! More

My AMG GLE Coupe seized up on the 405 fwy. I got towed off the fwy to South Bay MBZ. At that point we didn't know what happened to the car. I disputed the issue with MBZ. The repair required a new engine which cost about $26,000. I was out of warranty but felt the issue was caused by a failure of the vehicle. In the end I paid $8,300 and MBZ/South Bay picked up the rest. After 3 months I got my car back, but the new engine and everything has worked great since then. The car's failure at 33,000 miles was a very frustrating experience. However, I dealt with Linda Framel and she was great. She was prompt, honest, and informative. I would say I was a very difficult customer but Linda always was patient and fair with me. Especially patient and I very much appreciated that. Looking back she deserves kudos for how she handled my problem. More
