I am a returned customer to South Bay Mercedes Benz Dealership. The ease to make an appointment and the technicians who check you in and service tech’s are the best there’s a great group of people who Dealership. I have two concerns: 1) The invoice should be emailed with recommendations and when recommendations should be performed. 2) More Porters should be available outside to move cars up and out the way for with recommendations and when recommendations should be performed. 2) More Porters should be available outside to move cars up and out the way for arriving customers. There is a bottleneck at times and it gets a little confusing and frustrating. More

I had the most horrible experience with this company after purchasing a car and I will never go there again. I paid cash in full to purchase a car and I never received my plates, or title in the mail. N after purchasing a car and I will never go there again. Near the end of my temporary registration expiration, I tried to call in to express my need for an extension of a temporary registration while I waited for them to process their side of the deal at the DMV, but they never bothered to pick up the phone, or to call me back. I called a few times, but I was still ignored, and my calls were never returned. After a handful of days, I had to drive about an hour to get to the lot where I bought the car, and I had to demand to speak to a manager. The receptionist Linda was a really sweet, hard working woman who had the sense to show compassion and understanding. I cannot say the same for their General Sales Manager, Casey Helton. Not only did she not have the decency to at least show a smile, but her compassion and understanding for my frustration was nowhere in existence. I asked her why she didn't at least just call me back to help solve my issue, but instead she grumbled and refused to take any responsibility for her part in neglect of me as a customer. She barked something about the DMV not processing the car not being her fault, but she failed to realize my upset was at the lack of communication (not calling me back). I just wanted a simple and easy call back with communication and an extension for the registration. I am a very patient person, until I am treated like garbage. I am not sure how she gained a management position when her customer service skills are pretty much nil. They never told me what was going on at all with the DMV processing, until I went in physically to demand answers. I had to wait until I got a call a week later saying that they were not able to sell the car to me after all. They did pay me back in full, but I had a lawyer waiting for sure. Since the company manager failed horribly at customer service, I decided instead of buying another car from them, I would go somewhere else. I went to Hertz Car Sales near me, and I found an even nicer car (no blemishes) with way less mileage. I spent a few thousand more, but the deal was sincerely better. I was also offered a year warranty, which was not the case at the Mercedes-Benz of South Bay. I was given no warranty and I had only 5 days to decide whether or not I wanted to keep the car. In respect of the original car salesman, Sam, I will say that he was a gentleman and he tried to be of assistance. He could only do so much for me though, since he doesn't handle that end of the final sales. Linda and Sam, no disrespect to you, but ya they need to retrain that sales manager or something. Anyways, never again. More
