I was looking for a 2 seater convertible and visited another dealer (another brand) because I already owned a Mercedes Benz and wanted to try another brand. This was the second dealership I went to for that brand and received the same treatment. I decided to go to Herb Gordon and try another Mercedes Benz. From the time I walked, I was greeted nicely and Mr. Lovence accomodated me by inviting me to test drive the car of my choice and showing me one he had in stock. I fell in love with the car, but was uncertain if I wanted it. I have to say that my decision to purchase the car had a lot to do with the treatment and attention I received from Mr. Lovence. He not only sold me the car, but followed up afterwards to ensure that I was enjoying my car and was not having any problems adjusting. I will definitely recommend Herb Gordon, especially Mr. Lovence. More

Where can I begin. I was dealing with a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Alexandria. The sales person was unable to provide me the vehicle of my choice, nor was the salesperson able to meet my requirements t dealership in Alexandria. My husband placed a call to Herb Gordon Auto and spoke to the sales representative Pedro Delgado. Immediately, Pedro responded to the inquiry and offered me a great price for my new E-350 Mercedes. No price haggling, no pressure tactics -- he made it so easy. I never thought I would say that my experience in a dealership was outstanding. I've brought many cars in my lifetime and my saleperson Pedro has taken customer service to a whole new level. He explained every feature and detail of the car to me and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with the deal I got at Herb Gordon Mercedes. From the moment that I spoke to Pedro on the phone I knew that the deal was going to be no hassle and low pressure. Brought my E320 in the morning in for a "service C" which was basically a FSS service A/B. Elio was OK and explained what would be done. Picked up the car later in the afternoon after the work was completed. Quality of work was ok (or at least I thought) but I did notice that they did a poor job of washing the car. A couple weeks after the service was completed I happened to check the tire pressure and noticed that they had rotated the tires but didn't bother to adjust the tire pressures to the correct front and rear recommended pressures. So this leads to me ask and wonder, if they didn't pay attention to a simple thing like tire pressures, how are they on the rest of the service? So I can't say I would or wouldn't recommend the dealership, but I need to see if I come across any other issues in the work done. This is the reason I answered no for recommending the dealership. I would still consider another visit to the service dept but I would keep closer tabs on the work performed afterwards. More

He asked me what my needs were instead of discriminating or giving me what he thought I needed. He listened to everything my father and I said, even it it wasn't sales related, establishing great rapport. Even after the sale of the car, Julian introduced me to my very FIRST car in a manner I have never been introduced before, explaining every feature of the car. Even after returning Julian went above and beyond. Aside from Julian, the entire team, from paperwork finalization to parts and services were friendly and welcoming. It kinda felt like a family. More

I had ordered my 2011 E550 cabriolet from another dealership but decided to check out Herb Gordon. I am so glad that I did. My experience with Pedro made me feel at ease and I cancelled my order with the other dealership the next day. Pedro's patience and experience worked like a snake charmer on me and I took delivery of my vehicle the next day. He took the time to show my family and I around the dealership and stayed after business hours to go over every detail of my new ride.
