I walked in this dealship and was greeted with a smile that basically pulled me in. I was not planning on purchasing a car at that moment but Celestin Lovence was so professional that it took me 5 minute that basically pulled me in. I had called various Mercedes-Benz dealerships and did not feel any connection, but as soon as I walked in the Briggs Chaney dealership I felt the connection. Celestin was very helpful and overall he felt like family, although I was meeting him for the first time. I will recommend him to anyone who has an interest in purchasing a Mercedes-Benz. He not only invited me in to see a car they had in stock but sent a video of the exact car for review. Was a great step and definitely had me interested right away. Kumar was a pleasure to deal with, he was professional, knowledgable and extremely helpful. He didn't preasure me to buy and asked questions to find out my needs. Shahul Usman was extremely helpful in my search for a used MB. I found him to be friendly but more importantly he was very knowledgeable about the MB that for listed for sale at Herb Gordon's MB. I was going to purchase 2 Mercedes or 2 BMWs. Hands-down, Mercedes has the most knowledgeable, professional and patient staff. BMW->WHY I DID NOT PURCHASE A BMW. All BMW dealerships were unprofessional and unknowledgeable. One lady in Rockville, MD accused me of being a dealer or broker because I wanted to purchase 2 cars and could not get me a quote for two days. Russell BMW was worse. Sales lady announced that she knew nothing and was in Restaurant business two weeks ago. She kept jumping from car to car to figure out what the car was. I asked here what the gas milage was and she said, "I do not know. Is there one of those labels on the window? Can you look?" I said, "No, I can not look. I am driving". I asked her what programs is BMW offering for purchases and she said, "Um, I know they will fix the car if it breaks before 40 no 50 no 40 thousand miles." I said, "Did you understand the question?" The sales manager was just as bad. He called me (after I called the owner) to say he would drive the cars to us and personally deal with us. I told him this afternoon would be great and told him I would call him back in an hour or two. So I cleared my schedule. I called him two hours later and he said, "I can not come to you because I have a kids birthday party to go to". Never heard from him again. I can go on forever about all the BMW dealerships I dealt with. Buy the way, that sales lady at Russell lost our information and called us 2 minutes after leaving the parking lot saying "The sales manager deleted what you wanted...what did you want again?" WHY I PURCHASED TWO MERCEDES E550s FROM MERCEDES OF SILVER SPRING! First, the staff greeted me at the door and said hello! In fact, every and I mean every employee stopped and introduced themselves to me as they past. Yes, even the detail guy and the runners who pick up and deliver cars. I test drove different Mercedes for about 4 hours on Saturday. I called Jonathan Logue Saturday night and told him we would be by Sunday to test others. He said that the Sales Manager would personally attend to us as it was his day off. Sunday we walked in and who was at the door waiting for us on his day off (appropriately dressed) yes, Jonathan Logue. He came in on his day off. I must have drove him nuts trying different cars and asking many questions. Monday we came back in and purchase two Mercedes E550s. I said to him, "I will have to come back to pick up my old Volvo". He said, "Not to worry, I will have it placed on a flat bed truck and have it delivered to your home or office". Steve Gluck was just as professional. Jonathan went through a detailed lesson on the cars. He even took our cell phones and synced them with the car including contacts.
