This was the best car buying experience I've had. I visited the dealership with the intentions to buy a certified one-owner car that I had been tracking on line. I owrked the salesperson Marcelo who was excellent in his advice and customer service including the finance lady (Iaida?) who was just so patient and pleasant she really worked to get us a better rate then anticipated. The Wow factor to this visit was that I drove off in a new 2011 with all the features and color that I was happy with. Marcelo worked diligently to make sure that I was going to be happy with a car for me not what he thought I wanted he was professional and kind. The dealership had closed and Marcelo, Iaida and Quincy were still there attending to me how personal is that. It was dark and raining so hard and Marcelo continued to give me the upmost service he paired my phone and set my navigation this was a great car buying experience. I highly recommend the dealership and working with Marcelo Via. Although I live 1 hour and 40 minutes away it will be well worth the drive for service at Herb Gordon. This was by far the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had! Long story short, I was to purchase a pre-owned GLK 350 at another dealership that day. Lovence listened to my story, showed me what they had, and met my needs (financially and otherwise). What's even better is I was able to purchase A NEW VEHICLE, which I thought was out of rance. Steve Gluck and Celestin Lovence were AWESOME! They heard me out and met my needs without making me feel pressured or tricked. Oh, and I was able to get a better rate at the dealership~~~how's that for service! Who knew?! Lovence paired my phone to the car, showed me how to work the navigation, sirius, etc, and I was off. Mr. Lovence was courteous, competent, and patient. He explained every detail of the vehicle we were considering. He was eager to help us find just the car we wanted; he took time to listen to us and to answer every single question. From the time we arrived and requested to see him, he never left us until our purchase was complete. He did not pressure us to buy. We were uncertain concerning the amount we could get for our trade-in at a local car store. Mr. Lovence and his finance manager waited for us to leave their store and to travel to get an appraisal on our old vehicle. When we returned, they matched the appraisal and took our vehicle as a trade-in for the same amount as we would get at another local car store. In addition, Mr. Panjshiri, the finance manager, matched the exact same interest rate we were going to receive from our credit union and allowed us more months to pay than the credit union. Throughout the transaction, Mr. Lovence was honest and accommodating. We believed we got the best discount we could get on a 2011 car. Our cars have been serviced at Herb Gordon for more than 16 years. We have never had to take a car back for the same problem. The car is always ready when it is promised; they have offered excellent service the first time and every time. From the time I walked, I was greeted nicely and Mr. Lovence accomodated me by inviting me to test drive the car of my choice and showing me one he had in stock. I fell in love with the car, but was uncertain if I wanted it. I have to say that my decision to purchase the car had a lot to do with the treatment and attention I received from Mr. Lovence. Where can I begin. I was dealing with a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Alexandria. The sales person was unable to provide me the vehicle of my choice, nor was the salesperson able to meet my requirements t dealership in Alexandria. No price haggling, no pressure tactics -- he made it so easy. I never thought I would say that my experience in a dealership was outstanding.
