I look forward to the delivery of my new vehicle in early April 2011 and hope that the service department is as wonderful. Pedro reassured me that they could pick up and drop off my car for service since I lived ~ 20 miles away from the dealership and this was an important point for me. More

Since it was freezing outside, he brought the model in which we were interested into the service area where he knowledgeably explained all the new features compared to our existing E. His sales price and trade-in offer were also fully in line with other dealer quotes and Consumer Reports estimates. At no time did he pressure us to come to a decision. After we took delivery of the new car, he again took time to go over the most important features with us, including programming the navigation system to get us home, setting up our bluetooth cell phone connections and showing us how to use the various radio options. He also offered to answer any future questions that we might have. More
First off my regular Gold team service agent Tony is wonderful! However, when I had some excelleration issues with my car, I took it in for service and had to deal with a brown skinned female spanish w wonderful! However, when I had some excelleration issues with my car, I took it in for service and had to deal with a brown skinned female spanish woman who was clearly unprofessional and a cheat. I am stating her race and appearance because I don't know her name. They stated they needed to do a diagnostic on my car which would cost $130 or so. After 4 days they finally call me back a state, "they couldn't find anything and they need to search deeper for an ADDITIONAL COST of $560." So, my diagnostic would cost $660, before they ever told me what was wrong with the vehicle, and then I would have to pay for the repairs on top of that! That was not going to happen. If your Mercedes won't drive faster than 30 mph, I would assume that the dealer would be able to pinpoint the problem. I had spoken with 2 side mechanics who both gave me the same diagnosis. One of which works outside at a Jiffy Lube, and after 3 minutes he was able to tell me that I had an airflow problem, and needed a new catalytic converter. Yet, the Herb Gordon Mercedes dealer needed $660 to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle! I told them that they were crazy and that I was coming to pick up my car. They told me that if I want to pick it up, I could but it doesn't drive faster than 30 mph. I didn't care and picked up my car anyways. The service Rep ( brown skinned Spanish Lady), actually thought I was going to pay her for diagnosing a problem that they couldn't find!!! I noticed her talking with the mechanic that was apparently working on my vehicle, and he gave me a look as if to say. "I know whats wrong with your vehicle, I don't understand why this lady is willing to let you drive off." Finally, I drove my car all the way to Georgia ave, and Blair road to the District Line Auto Service for Imported Cars. After a 1 hour diagnostic check, they told me I would need a catalytic converter. They replaced both converters for $1200 and my car was ready by noon the next day. I can never again take my vehicle to this dealership for service. I realize that some of there employees, in an attempt of making a good impression to their bosses, will actually Rip customers off. The point isn't about the money. It's about the lame excuse used to try and extort me for more money. More
It was quite stressful to find out that I was in need of a new car, but i couldn't have asked for a more caring and competent sales person . It was such a pleasure to purchase my new Mercedes through Jonathan Logue at Herb Gordon Auto World in Silver Spring. I was ready to trade in my 4 year old Lexus and so I thought I was used to custome through Jonathan Logue at Herb Gordon Auto World in Silver Spring. I was ready to trade in my 4 year old Lexus and so I thought I was used to customer service from a luxury brand. Did Jonathan prove me wrong! From the time my daughters and I walked into the showroom, Jonathan showed was so painstakingly patient in helping 3 females navigate through the car-buying process, until I got exactly what I wanted. For the first time in my life, I did not feel 'taken' after a car-buying experience. EVERYONE I dealt with treated me with the utmost courtesy and did not mind answering every question I had to make my comfortable. I was truly impressed! More

I was surprised at how trustworthy and committed the salesman(Pedro) was. I searched online first because I heard so many horror stories about salesmen that make assumptions about your finances based o salesman(Pedro) was. Pedro treated me as if I was his only costumer- promptly replying to all my emails and phone calls, explaining every detail of the car when I arrived, and consistently ensuring my happiness; I felt very comfortable and confidant that he was doing everything he could to get me in my 1st Benz! My overall experience at this dealership was exceptional! Everyone was so nice; my buying experience was definitely better than the skeptics lead me to believe. I tell them, and everyone else, that if they're in the market, go to this dealership- you won't regret it! More
