excellent service with no appointment I had made an appointment for a noise in the car and was unable to keep it because of a funeral. As I was about to drive back to Long Island, N.Y. in a few days and was concerned about the noise, I stopped in at about 4 pm with no appointment. Brian, the service manager, listened to my description of the sound, took the car for a test drive, found the source of the problem, explained it to me, fixed it and had the car back to me within an hour. I cannot believe they are a Mercedes Dealership. Worst Service Department I have ever dealt with. I have been there 3 times and this is the last. I will now drive to Tampa. Bought new 200.00 floor mats driver side ripped entire length heel pad and backing passenger side desintegrated. Door panel became loose several month's later. Once home noticed black spots looking like oil and a white residue on the back that I was unable to remove without specialty product. Interestingly they parked it out of their lights in the shadows.Did not detail car as requested and never bothered with a follow-up call, they probably knew what a terrible job they did. Finally I was told engine work I had done at another mercedes dealership would have been approximately 2.5 times more expensive with them. More
We have had very bad experience with the Service Department. We have documented proof of being charged for services which were not performed. The response " your insurance company will pay for it". A few days earlier we ordered new rims; but did not discover until the tire store that they were different sizes - their mistake. Last month we brought the car in twice for a leaking pump, but not until the third time when "it was gushing" did they isolate the problem. I can overlook the clerical errors and technician not finding a problem, but the cavalier attitude about fraudulent charges is disgusting. More
I drive a 1997 Mercedes E-Class, so obviously my car still isn't covered under warranty. Everyone always told me to avoid the dealership for repair work - as they would be the most expensive. Wow, they were wrong! After having a local independent shop tell me I needed a new $2,000+ transmission, I decided to take my car to Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota. I was immediately greeted by a service drive attendent, who immediately let Judy know I had arrived. Judy was an absolute joy to work with! She was so nice and extremely professional. She listened to every concern I had, taking note of everything. I was provided with a service loaner vehicle, as I had to get to work. Once my car went through a complete diagnosis, Judy called me that same day - to let me know that my car didn't need a new transmission at all! The only problem I had with that - was an electrical issue in the shifter. I had to get my shifter replaced. I saved $1,500 right there! To top things off, when I picked up my vehicle later on, I found that it had been completely washed and cleaned - they even cleaned the brake dust off my wheels! You don't get service like that anymore. So all in all, my original thoughts of the dealership were completely wrong. Every person in Service was extremely helpful and courteous. The prices were more than fair, and I was treated with absolute respect. I feel like these people went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. From now on, I honestly won't take my car (and future MB's) anywhere else. More

Judith has been my Service Advisor for the last 18 months. She is awesome. My previous vehicle was not a Mercedes Benz however they never treated me any differently. Recently I returned to the dealership for a routine inspection and decided to speak with a salesman during my visit. I met with Tom Clancy and told him that I wanted to look around and see what my options were. I think I was ready to join the MB family. Tom took his time with me and did not pressure me to make any decisions that I was not ready to make. After comparing the work I needed to put into my former vehicle to what I could invest in a used MB, the decision was already made. The MB of Sarasota team just made it possible. And when I picked up my car a few days ago it ran and handled better than when I took it in for service ,they found a problem with something and took care of it Think about it you are going 75 MPH on the highways here in Florida --- I trust the people at MB of Sarasota .... The customer service experience from Audrey was exceptional. The highest rating that i can give anyone. I own a 1996 mercedes Benz s420. The A/C needed extensive repairs. I did not understand the whole process involved with diagnosis, repair estimates and loaner cars. Audrey had taken what ever time neccessary to explain the extent of the a/c repairs, in detail, right down to the small parts that were needed to be replaced. If i had any questions about the repairs, she had alot of knowledge to answer them. If she did not know an answer, she took the time to find out. Audrey is excellent when it came down to billing warrentee companies on service/repairs. She made sure my warrentee covered the repairs according to what is listed under the contract. She looked out for me to make sure I was not mislead by my warentee company in refusing covered repairs. Audrey also worked hard to get me the lowest price possible for my repairs/service. I was always greeted with a smile. Audrey displayed the highest perfessionalism of any service personnel. I will always ask for her to service my vehicle when i come back to the dealership. The repair tech Bill, who worked on my cars A/C was also rated high by me. When I picked up my car, Bill greeted me and showed me what was done to my vehicle. He was there to answer any questions i had about the service. More
