Mike Bordmer was cordial and probably had a handkerchief handy after a customer reviewed cost of repair. Hourly rates of over $200 are insane, and I have to assume my parts costs were inflationary. I had to have it repaired because of the fuel fumes that are not only toxic but explosive. I would have brought the car to “my go to” mechanics but they were booked out to late May, and saving $1,000 wouldn’t have been worth the danger. More
