Unprofessional, inflated fees, and left me with a locked car they didn't even own yet! Buyer beware! Purchasing a used Tesla from Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota was the absolute worst dealership experience I’ve car they didn't even own yet! Buyer beware! Purchasing a used Tesla from Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota was the absolute worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. • Inflated Junk Fees & Haggling: They initially refused to budge on massive, overpriced fees ($499 electronic filing, $995 dealer fee, and inflated registration costs). Only after I sent them four direct competitor comparisons with far lower fees did they finally agree to drop the total cost by $500. • Wasted Time & Unprofessional Communication: We agreed on a deal on a Wednesday. The salesman assured me the car would be prepped with new tires and fully charged for a 4–5 PM pickup. I took time off work and prepared for a 4-hour drive from Jacksonville, only to have him call and tell me the tires weren’t even there. When I expressed frustration, his response was a completely dismissive: "Do you want the car or not? If not, no sweat." • Unprepared Delivery: When I finally drove down to pick up the car on Monday with a check in hand, the car wasn't fully charged as requested, forcing me to make unnecessary charging stops on my 4-hour drive back home. • The Dealership Didn't Even Pay Off the Title: This is the most shocking part. Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota listed, sold, and collected my money for a trade-in vehicle they never paid off or got the previous owner to release! Because of their failure, the car remains locked. I cannot add it to my Tesla app, cannot use Tesla Superchargers, and cannot set up my vehicle preferences. I paid in full for a car I can’t fully use because Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota dropped the ball on basic trade-in and title procedures. Save yourself the headache and buy directly from Tesla instead of dealing with this store's inflated fees and gross incompetence. More

Excellent Service. My service advisor, Tyler, had the loaner ready to go when I arrived. I mentioned a steering issue and he said they would look at it while the car My service advisor, Tyler, had the loaner ready to go when I arrived. The mechanic sent a video that explained the steering problem and what was required to fix it. More
