They were able to fit me in at the last minute for which I was grateful for. I understood that it wouldn't be fixed over night, but was hopeful that it would be worked on within the week. My husband would be out of town for the week so the goal was to get it fixed before he came back from his business trip. I dropped it off and expected a call/update by the 2 or 3 day. When I didn't hear anything by the end of the 3rd day I called and was directed to leave a message. They were in the office, but away from the desk. I left my number as well as my email asking for an update when time permitted. I called again on the 4th day, 5th day, and 7th day leaving messages with my number and email since my calls kept going to voicemail since they were in but out of the office. Communication, verbal/non verbal, has such a large impact, good and bad. My car was at the dealership for 10 days before I got a call back. There were apologies and then an update about what was being done to trouble shoot what needed to be fixed. They called with each update on what needed to be done to which I agreed with the findings and encouraged it to be fixed. The car was dropped off on the 13th and we picked it up on the 30th. We understand parts need to be ordered, people get sick, life happens. Communication finishes the story correctly rather then us making up the story incorrectly in our minds. Thank you to everyone for making our car road worthy and especially safe. More
We arrived to drop off our sprinter van for a recall and was sent to the waiting room. Once the service writer finally came to us, he informed us that everything that we were there for was going to get done was sent to the waiting room. I mentioned that there was another issue that I want them to look at while the vehicle was there and he said that oh that is covered under another recall and they can complete that as well. He sent us on our way (we done two cars here so didn't need a loaner) but didn't show us any work order and there was nothing so sign so we left not knowing what exactly was getting done or what everything was going to cost. We dropped off the van at 9:20am and he started that everything should be done later on the same day and that we could pick up the van from the sales department up until 8pm since service will be closed. Since it was going to be a late pickup, we decided to pickup the van the following day. When we called to make sure that the van was done, he started that they had issues with their computer programmer and will get back to us (no communication on this so lucky we called first). Friday we had other appointments so couldn't come to pick up the van until Saturday. On Saturday we had a friend give us a ride to the dealer because we live about 30 miles away. On the way there we called just to make sure that everything was done and the service writer said that the service department is closed now and sales department will not be able to get the locked keys and that we will have to come back Monday. The experience with this dealership has been so unprofessional. Was kept in the dark from the minute we arrived. Would never return to do business here again. More
