My first visit First visit This was my first visit with this service department at this dealership. I purchased my 2018 vehicle out of town and I would like to us First visit This was my first visit with this service department at this dealership. I purchased my 2018 vehicle out of town and I would like to use this dealership for all of my service needs. I was not impressed with my visit. I was there for 3 hours for a notification that I needed a tire rotation and there was a seat belt recall from the manufacture. I finally had to ask when would my car be ready. Since it took so long I refused the car wash. I was very impressed with Ahmad Aldarwish and he answered all of my questions.. My receipt states I received a car wash and I did not receive a complimentary car wash. I have no idea who the employee was in the service trailer that printed and gave me my receipt, but he was not very friendly customer service. I believe I have discussed and received a reply from someone name Lisa brown regarding my visit. I was not impressed with customer waiting area. Customer waiting area need to be upgraded. More
Unbelievably NOT Mercedes usual service I own a Smart Car which needs to be serviced by Mercedes Benz. I took it to their location and asked for them to put a new top on it. A week late I own a Smart Car which needs to be serviced by Mercedes Benz. I took it to their location and asked for them to put a new top on it. A week later, when I contacted Jason, he responded that the last item ordered was a key (that was for my previous Smart car) which indicated to me that the parts had never been ordered. After another week, the part came in, was installed and we came to pick it up. Three blocks from the dealership, the entire roof of the car flew off and skidded across 3 lanes of traffic. Luckily, no vehicle was hit and no one was hurt. Immediately returned to the dealership and Jason came out and smiled and laughed. This wasn't funny. It could have resulted in a real tragedy. After another two weeks and promises that the car would be ready 'the next day', I called to pick it up and was told they wanted to keep it and put some miles on it. Since I was leaving on vacation the next day I had to wait until I returned. After nine weeks, I finally got my car back and they had done quite a bit of extra work on it that, in all fairness, they didn't charge me for, but was not authorized by me. I can't believe I paid $2000 for such poor service. Jason is in the wrong business. Although we have purchased 3 cars from MB, we will never be returning to the Sacramento location. NEVER had a problem with the Rocklin location, but they don't work on Smart Cars. More
needs better follow up I was told my airbag was recalled and a part was ordered and I would have to come back. There has been no follow up in over 3 weeks. The part should have arrived by now and hopefully I will hear from the dealership one of these days. I do not believe this is Jack's fault.... he did a great job!! I just think Mercedes service needs better follow up. More
