Customer Service Went for a recall, but wanted to find out if I could have my maps updated. No Love for My Smart Car I made an appointment. This car has always been services at a dealer either Smart Center or Mercedes. I usually takes just over 1 hour but never lon I made an appointment. This car has always been services at a dealer either Smart Center or Mercedes. I usually takes just over 1 hour but never longer than 2 for either type of service A or B even if I have them check on something extra. This time is was over 3 hours and they did not finish with a wash because I needed my car to go to an appointment. When I got my car the top was not closed properly, the tail gate was not closed properly and the passenger window was left down just slightly so I could not tell until I was driving highway speed and it whistled. The worst was I thought there was something wrong with my convertible top and ask it be checked. They stated nothing was wrong. When I go home and gave my car a bath the next day the rear mechanism on my roof to my rear window was broken off. It is plastic and attached to the window and now one side is not attached. This was not mentioned to me or even noted. The plastic component had failed and fell of in my hand when I was working the top to dry the inside openings. Also they stated that my brake pad need to be changed "very soon" on the invoice. Again it was not discussed or mentioned when my car was returned. I was not kept informed to the status of my car, at other dealers my service rep would let me know how long it would be. It was just a terrible experience with your service department. I will not return to the MB of Sacramento. I own 4 mercedes cars and one currently has a recall on it and I will check to see if one of the other Von Housen dealerships can take care of it. Hoping that the local management there will care for me and my car. I have been to three other dealerships for service over my Smart's life and this totally the worst one. I am saddened that my coupe has Von Housen of Sacramento frames on her. Planning to change them out so as not to advertise the Sacramento Dealership. I have been made to put a star rating to submit this review if I could I would give you negative stars. More
I DROVE my car in to be evaluated. I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED HOME, on top of that they expected me to pay for the tow on top of a 400$ bill, mind you for just an evaluation. Needless to say after i acted TOWED HOME, on top of that they expected me to pay for the tow on top of a 400$ bill, mind you for just an evaluation. Needless to say after i acted unruly, I was accommodated with a tow home free of charge. More
