Where do I even begin? Dale is an amazing individual and a phenomenal salesman. I have been interested in owning/leasing a SMART car for almost 2 years. Due to personal finance misconceptions I was under a phenomenal salesman. I have been interested in owning/leasing a SMART car for almost 2 years. Due to personal finance misconceptions I was under the impression that I could not afford to own a new car. Boy was I WRONG! Dale made this entire experience so easy, so effortless and incredibly stress free. During my test drive he found an even better model, with more options and greater features for less money than the original vehicle I was test driving. He walked me through every step of the process. I could not in a million years be happier with my decision to not only lease a SMART but to do so with the help of Dale. My SMART is one of a kind, with options and features other SMART cars do not have. My overall budget for car payment and insurance is 50 dollars less than the maximum I allowed for myself, and I feel no stress what so ever in regards to the financial issue of leasing a SMART. Everytime I look at my car, get in my car, drive my car I feel happy and at ease with the world. The gas mileage is incredible. I recently drove over 317 miles on 7.1 gallons of gas. How is this possible? I don't know but I'm in love. The 6 speaker surround sound stereo system makes every drive a musical adventure. I can listen to documentaries as I drive and if I'm parked I can watch whatever DVD I want. I will never be lost because of my navigation option and knowing that underneath it all is a Mercedes makes me happy and makes me feel safe above all. I would, have, and will continue to recommend Dale Acelar for any Mercedes (or any other vehicle he thinks would work for you) purchase or lease. This fellow is one in a million and I am thankful every day that I took this step with him by my side. Dale, you're a gem, never forget that, ever! More

Surprisingly I bought my car in the farthest away from home, in Portland. The reason is very simple: Dale Acelar. I never met him in person, did all my dealing with him over the Internet. Never spoke to him on the phone, as I wanted everything we dealt with to be documented in writing. He was by far the most knowledgeable of all the other dealers, the most creative and of course very courteous. He used to own 7 Mercedes cars himself and knows the car very well. He has ideas that nobody else had and is very friendly and reliable. I would recommend him to anybody interested in a good deal and very special treatment at Mercedes. I already ordered my next car from him also. More

Although, I ultimately did not make a purchase, when I do, he will definitely be the one I go too. He made the process easy; I felt as though I had someone working for me, not the dealer. I was also very pleased with his demeanor, as a mid 30's single female, Dale was comfortable to talk with, easy to be around, and seemed like a real genuine individual. I would highly recommend him, his level is of customer service is what so many should be but often are not. Lastly, I was very impressed with the new Sales Manager and Finance Manager as well. The change from Rasmussen to Lithia has been a huge improvement. More

Overall, I would have to rank my recent car-buying experience with MB Portland as one of the best. At more than 50 year of age, I've had a lot of experience buying cars. I am also a very competitive s experience with MB Portland as one of the best. At more than 50 year of age, I've had a lot of experience buying cars. I am also a very competitive shopper and incessant researcher. So, I believe that is saying a lot about this dealership, and my sales adviser, Richard Maughan, and the sales manager, Paul West, in particular. I shopped all up and down the West Coast for my new ML550. Since I have various office locations, I had the choice of many dealerships from which to buy my new ML, from Newport Beach, CA to Lynnwood, WA, and the opportunity to interact with many of them. MB Portland stands out head and shoulder among the rest. Perhaps it is because the people in Oregon are generally so much nicer than those in California (especially SoCal...ugg! They'll run you over down there if they could), but the sales people at this dealership are exceptional. The absolute key word to describe my sales adviser and the sale manager is honorable. They could have backed away from their promises, led me astray, or screwed around in the multiple ways I have sadly experienced with other car salespeople ...but they came through for me with honesty and integrity. I'd like to spill all the details, but I'm afraid to say more or else 1) you will think I was paid to say it, or 2) I might get my sales adviser and the sales manager in trouble for going so above and beyond to get me the exact car I wanted at a very competitive price, and then fight for the best finance deal I could get. I'm afraid I might have raised the bar, they were that good. So, let me just say that if you are looking for a great deal and sales team that will come through for you, then look no further than MB Portland. Certainly, you have to do your research and ask or even subtle push for the deal you want (heck, if they gave everyone the deal I negotiated, they'd probably be out of business next week). But they really try their best to be responsive, accommodating, and make you happy, and that's key. I can't speak too much to the complaints I've read here on Yelp about the service department, since I've only used them once last week to remove the running boards from the new ML550 (I hated those things, but they come standard on the ML550). But they did a great job with painting and adding the AMG trim that goes in the place of the board. I wish they could have wrapped up the old dirty boards before putting them in the back of my pristine, brand new ML, but that's my only complaint. More

We have been looking for a bigger car mostly small SUV's, and my husband wanted to check out the new GLK, I had my eye on an ML350. Turns out the GLK is a bit too small for our family, there were no ML's at and my husband wanted to check out the new GLK, I had my eye on an ML350. Turns out the GLK is a bit too small for our family, there were no ML's at the dealership so I took a loaner for the week while they searched for one, all said and done an ML350 was found and I love it. I am excited about all the features and we have room to grow! Kenny was very knowledgable about his product and others on the market that we had also driven.
