On 10-23-20 I purchased a new 2021 GLC300 for my wife who wanted a smaller SUV then her 2018 Lexus RX350. Immediately upon purchase, I discovered that the clock in the vehicle was not operating properly in wanted a smaller SUV then her 2018 Lexus RX350. Immediately upon purchase, I discovered that the clock in the vehicle was not operating properly in that sometimes it would indicate a time that was 3+ hours off and then later correct itself. Speaking with MB Plano, they had me reboot the clock which seemed to help for a short period. Subsequently it happened again and I reboot and then it happened again and once again I rebooted. On 12-14-20, after it happened twice again, I called my service adviser and was advised that she would have someone call me to set up a time to bring the vehicle in. After three days of not hearing from anyone, I sent an email to MB Plano advise of the situation and lack of communication. I received an acknowledgment of receipt and that someone would get back to me. It is now 12-19-20, and I still have not heard from anyone. After dealing with Park Place Lexus for some 20 years, I am not accustomed to this kind of customer service or lack thereof. While an problem with a vehicle clock is not major, the lack of communication and response from MB Plano indicates, to me, their low level of customer service. However, the purchase experience was fine but that is only part of dealing with customers. More
