Prestige is no nonsense, quality care and reliable repair. I have been leasing Mercedes E since 1999. I have used Prestige, 1st Mike and now Ken. I know what I want and I don't really wish to be overloaded w I have been leasing Mercedes E since 1999. I have used Prestige, 1st Mike and now Ken. I know what I want and I don't really wish to be overloaded with pre-lease last minute extras. They have good cars right there. The service department is always immediately available even for minor things like unknown dashboard warnings. I used another dealer in another part of the US in 2007, for a three year lease when for a brief time I lived away from Bergen NJ. It was an awful experience. First I could not get out of the place without meeting with half the sales staff..each had their own spiel for a different add-on. Then about a year before termination, I had a tire problem that needed attention. They did a scheduled maintenance and told me that the car had been hit, the front-end frame needed a 'thorough 'going through' after which they said that they could do the repair for "$7000 give or take." I had moved and took it to a local person I know who works for one of the other local dealers. He checked the frame and said there was 'nothing wrong with it.' When it was returned at termination, which was also done elsewhere, they also said that the car was fine. I don't know if that was a mistake or intentional, but I was not happy. My point is that I will never use any other dealer than Prestige for the future. They are solid people. You can't survive in Bergen ripping people off. It's too big a 'small town.' My original referral to Prestige in 99 was from an older local bz associate who said he had used other dealers and Prestige was the one to use. I dont mean to cast aspersions on other MBenz dealerships. Just that Prestige in no-nonsense, friendly, and the service people are reliable. Cars are not my hobby and I dont have time to spend my free hours debating prices with multiple dealerships. Mike and Ken have been very helpful and easy to work with. I get no compensation or dealer-credit. This is unsolicited. More
