My service person is Peter Martin and I couldn’t ask for a better understanding advisor. He listened to what needed to Be done to my car and not suggest things that isn’t needed. Brought in my 2014 CLA for a transmission oil change and to replace the auxiliary battery(that had been replaced by this establishment 2 years ago) drove out the lot and pumped gas across the street , when to replace the auxiliary battery(that had been replaced by this establishment 2 years ago) drove out the lot and pumped gas across the street , when the vehicle not in park message came up on the dashboard. Instantly, went back across the street to take the vehicle back into service, and was mentioned I was going to receive a diagnosis. I called Tuesday through Saturday to get an update, just to be sent to voicemail every single time. I go In Monday, just for them to tell me the car isn’t shifting gears. And that it was a problem I’ve had for 2 years, and was never informed to fix it. Why can't I have been advised sooner? Why isn't their any communication for a week? Brought my vehicle running , got it back from the dealership running after the initial work performed , and went right back in less than 15 minutes RUNNING . And now the service dept. has had my car for a week just to tell me it’s not running and in order for them to diagnose it correctly they need to take the whole car apart to see what it is. Before performing any work does this service dept. not check and advise the customer what else might be wrong? I do not want Mercedes Benz Of Orland to fix this issue, I want the service dept. to give me back my vehicle the way I brought it in RUNNING to take it to a different dealership with better customer service, communication and an establishment that treats their customers the correct way not with a service manager who tells their customers they don’t have time for this and if I wanted the repairs done or not. -Adan Cervantes More
