Kudos to @mercedes-benz of Massapequa Service Manager Robin Laurel and his incredible service team as they saved me from a (non Mercedes dealer) deceptive service scam regarding my 2020 Dodge RAM. I pu Robin Laurel and his incredible service team as they saved me from a (non Mercedes dealer) deceptive service scam regarding my 2020 Dodge RAM. I purchased the RAM as a lease return from the fine Mercedes dealership, but months later took it to a RAM dealer to look into an oil leak. The other dealer wanted to bilk me for more than $3500 for new engine mounts!! When Robin and his team at Mercedes took a look for me, they determined the leak was only due to a loose oil filter. I can’t say enough positive things about the fine staff at Mercedes of Massapequa Sales, Service & Finance departments are all top notch and wonderful! Albert in Sales has also been amazing every step of the way! I wouldn’t buy a car from anywhere else. It’s a nice feeling to have implicit trust in a dealership these days. Do not trust their service department. I told the service manager Robin to take care of the recall on my S580 and get the Scheduled maintenance done as long as they go over pricing with me I told the service manager Robin to take care of the recall on my S580 and get the Scheduled maintenance done as long as they go over pricing with me, the service advisor and the supervisor did the service without telling me the price. When I got to pick up my car, and express my concerns the service manager Robin listens to the call between me and the service advisor and agrees that he never said anything about the price, then he apologizes that he never went over the price. I pay for the service and I am not happy but then they bring my car and there is scratches all over the back trunk and also the rear quarter panel, the service manager Robin assured me that I can leave and he will get this taken care off. Robin calls me 2 days later and says he has been scrubbing footage and has proof that the car came in with scratches, since i got the car towed I ask for this proof because maybe the Tow company did it, he tells me I have to come in to look at it but the best part is, that the footage is from the 8th and I dropped of the car on the 2ND. I asked him if they videos the car like they always do and they said no we don’t have that footage, I asked if they footage from earlier like the 2nd when the car was dropped off and they said no. You mean to tell me that my car was there for a week and then you have footage of scratches on it. I am utterly disgusted it how they tried to get out of this situation for a couple of bucks instead of doing the right thing for the customer, especially when they are the ones that scratched up the car. Please do not take your car to service there. More

The worst Mercedes Benz dealership I have been to by far. Merceds Benz North American should rip all incentive funding from this place. Prob neck and neck with the worst of them all Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn. Both service departments in absolute shambles. Service manager is completely useless coming to customer issues. THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY DROPPED THEM. I wonder why. Drove over an hour and half from my office to get my car serviced by them, which I have been doing year and after year for 4 years now with each year becoming more disappointing. Sloppy techs leaving fittings loose under the hood. Shop foreman’s there are completely inadequate next to the service advisors (besides John if you must go there in an emergency only see John Mcquire). Other wise avoid this dump as much as you can esp when you have one of the last few made facelifts cls63s amg with barely any miles with a fidelity platinum plus warranty that always pays out! (If you want your car to be half assed and sit there for weeks at a time then this is for you). They have billed my warranty well over $35k in padded repairs on my vehicles. Last time I was there before this they scratched a 2k custom carbon steering wheel doing a wheel alignment. How careless can you be with customers cars? Then to come to this place after sitting in almost 2 hours of traffic with an appointment booked well in advance to be told “oh we can just give loaners anymore.” Excuse me? Why wasn’t thy is stated before I wasted my time there. Was promised by the incompetent manager Hassan that I would have a loaner delivered to my workplace by the next morning. Surprise surprise 24 hrs later and stranded without a vehicle. Had to go out of my way back in an Uber through another 2 hours of afternoon belt parkway and southern state parkway traffic to take my AMG out of their service bay. More
