He is the gold standard when it comes to buying a car. He is practically a Mercedes encyclopedia but also knowledgeable about his competitors. All you have to do is tell him what you are looking for and he will find it. I know this because my parents have been buying cars from him for years. In this instance he found me a great car within a week of talking to him. He spent a lot of time with me going over every detail of the car even though it was well past closing hours. Initial greeting was friendly, was quickly and efficiently passed over to John who answered all my questions and didn't hesitate to set up a long and effective test drive there and then. Came back the next day to buy and the process was again friendly and efficient. Paperwork was easy, additional warranty options were explained clearly but without pressure, the vehicle walk through with Megan was quick but comprehensive. If I had to find a fault, which is hard, it would my first contact with the Sales Manager Abel, who although a nice guy, still tried some of the old school car dealer closing techniques which seemed anachronistic and at odds with the rest of the Tafel experience. But really that's picking on a small thing. We'll be in the market for an SUV in a couple of months and the first stop will be Tafel to see what they have.
