Car was spotless and my service advisor TJ was awesome. This review is of my Trade-in experience at Mercedes Benz of Kansas City and does not reflect my experience of the Salesperson, Finance or delivery personnel. Geoff Bedine (GM) and Ross Strada (Sales Mana of Kansas City and does not reflect my experience of the Salesperson, Finance or delivery personnel. Geoff Bedine (GM) and Ross Strada (Sales Manager) are a pair of bullies who employ extremely intimidating negotiation tactics. The delivery of their message was hostile and completely unacceptable which ruined our Mercedes Benz purchase experience. My family and I were viewing our potential purchase in the showroom when Geoff came into the showroom yelling at us and our salesperson, he did not acknowledge or greet us what so ever. We all walked into the front parking lot where my trade in was parked. I could tell the situation was about to be very tense so I attempted to deescalate the situation by introducing myself to Geoff but he didn't even take a second to shake my hand. The situation simply got worse from there. Geoff and his hype man (Ross) proceeded to prance around my vehicle yelling out to each other the imperfections of my 1 year old vehicle that I was trading in. Many of the concerns were valid (paint blemishes, windshield crack, etc) and I was okay with a reasonable reduction in tade-in value. It was the delivery of the message that honestly humiliated me and my family. They knew I was not in a position of negotiation leverage since I had driven 3hrs to their dealership and I had already placed a non-refundable down payment for them to hold the new vehicle, so they attempted to crush me with their unprofessional tactics. We shared our frustrations with our salesperson Ritchie, he apologized but the damage had been done. Ritchie even offered to refund our non-refundable down payment if we wanted to walk. Regardless of the horrible experience with Geoff and Ross, we elected to make the purchase due to the lack of vehicles in the market, plus they had the vehicle which we wanted. Rob the finance person was friendly, we even found mutual connections since he too is from NW Arkansas. Jessie was great teaching us all the features of the new 2021 GLE. Even though our experience with Ritchie, Rob and Jessie was pleasant the damage that Geoff and Ross caused will not allow me to recommend this dealership to anyone as the leadership sets a very poor example to the rest of the team. I had to use the night drop off on 7-21-21 to have the repair my tire after it got punctured with 2 nails. Cody Young my tech support called me and said that since the tire cannot be repaired, they will repair my tire after it got punctured with 2 nails. Cody Young my tech support called me and said that since the tire cannot be repaired, they will replace my tire and I only pay sales tax. While I knew my warranty, it was very nice and honest of him and his employer to assure me that there will be no charge. Cody also did a courtesy inspection. Very impressed with their service department. May God bless them. They made my life easy. And of course, as soon as I pulled out of their lot and entered the intersection, I was in crash with some lady in a white SUV......HMMMM More
