Service department ripped me off Took my 2010 ML350 for a quote on a radiator replacement, told the service adviser what it was leaking and since it was obvious the leak the diagnost Took my 2010 ML350 for a quote on a radiator replacement, told the service adviser what it was leaking and since it was obvious the leak the diagnostic fee would be minimal if one at all. I was quoted 6 hours @ $140 per hour labor plus the cost of the radiator $377, plus $475 for a transmission flush for a total of $1,700. I was shocked and decided to shop around at 2 more Mercedes repair shops in Huntington before deciding to go ahead with the repair, and per my surprise the "book labor hours" for this repair is 3.5 hours according to the other 2 shops I visited. I felt that the dealer wanted to take me for a ride and rip me off $800 dollars over the common labor hours charged by the industry standards. My advise to you is to do your homework before you go for any repair to the dealer, shop around for the same kind of work and then go to the dealer for an estimate so you know where you are standing, or they will try to pull as much cash as you have in your wallet with no mercy if you are clueless . By the way, they charged me a $140 for a diagnostic fee for nothing, Be aware !!!! Stay away for Mercedes of Huntington,NY. More
