We leased Audis for 12 years before leasing our first Mercedes (from MB Manhattan); in 2009, a friend recommended that we try talking to Paul Napper at MB Huntington, and in March of that year we did. Mr. Napper was a pleasure to deal with at that time, and when we returned the car to the dealership a week ago at the end of the lease, he was once again as friendly, helpful, and attentive as he was three years ago. MBs can basically sell themselves, I suppose, but a high-pressure stereotypical sales type would have sent us running. Even though we live in Manhattan, the trip out to Huntington is worth it to us, because of Paul (and, indeed, everyone we spoke with while we were there going through the process of getting the old car returned and the new one picked up). Even though he was coming down with a cold that got progressively worse the longer we sat there, Paul took his time to make sure that every detail was handled properly. I read the other reviews on this site and am, quite frankly, mystified by the one terrible review -- it was almost as if this person had been to a different dealership altogether. My own experience with MB Huntington in general, and Paul Napper in particular, has been nothing but excellent, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. More
I always HATED car shopping. I always felt that someone would try to take advantage of me. That ended when I met JR. I have purchased several vehicles from him in the past few years and now its to a point would try to take advantage of me. That ended when I met JR. He and his staff are professional, friendly and most importantly trustworthy. Its important to have a relationship with the people that you do business with and I feel that JR always is looking out for my best interests. More

J.R. was friendly, straightforward, and gave us a great no-nonsense price. While efficient, he did not seem at all like he was in a rush and gave us excellent customer service. Recently, I had a GL550 undergo routine service and installation of winter tires on October 1 I own 3 MB's. One GL550, one ML550, and one SL55 AMG. Recently, I had a GL550 undergo routine service and installation of winter tires on October 11, 2012. I was charged $264.19 for wheel alignment which was not approved by me. Further, someone else’s winter tires were installed on my car. When Richard Werner, my service adviser, informed me of the service department’s mistake on October 12, 2012, I requested to speak with the dealership principal. To my disappointment, Mr. Jim Gustaw contacted me. Mr. Gustaw’s approach was to turn the whole event into a joke which I did not find very entertaining or amusing!!! Previously, I had several similar frustrating experiences when I had the winter tires replaced with the all-season tires in April of 2012. Once, the GL tires were mistakenly placed on the ML. On another occasion, some bolts on the ML wheels were missing. Interestingly, your staff had the same casual approach when I expressed my concerns. Richard’s comment was that I should not make a big deal because I was “alive and not harmed”! On another occasion, I had a SL55 AMG in the shop for about one week just to figure out if the repairs were covered under warranty to replace parts of the center console. Although my worst experience has been with service, the sales department is not much more professional or honest either. You can always find a better deal at MB of Massapequa. More
