I recently purchased a certified 2020 GLE with 12,000 miles from the mercedes benz of north houston. To say it was a terrible experience is an understatement. I made an appointment to sign papers and made it very clear that my husband had limited time but we were still at the dealership for 3 hours waiting with our kids. Before I even got home, I opened the sunroof and a piece of rubber fell and landed on my head. The sunroof had crumpled rubber stuck all over in the track and wouldn't close. I called the dealership and was told I could bring it in to have it fixed. That evening while reviewing my loan documents, I saw that the finance woman had added a warranty package I specifically said I didn't want. When I called to ask about this and my sunroof, I had a hard time getting any communication at all. I spoke with the sales woman and she said she would have finance call me and figure out the mistake. When Jackie finally did call me, after two days and an email to the general manager (to which he never responded) she told me that the theft package was part of the extended warranty package. When I told her that I knew that it wasn't, she told me that they like their customers to have the theft package anyway. ARE YOU JOKING!? She told me she would redo my loan papers and take off the things she had included without my permission. I was told to come in and they had to part to fix my sunroof and I would quickly sign the papers. Well I spent two hours, with my kids, at the dealership before I signed the new papers, and they didn't have the part to fix my sunroof. They did however leave a giant stain on the interior ceiling when they looked at it. When I finally saw the finance manager, he told me had gotten to sleep in that day and had just gotten there. So glad I came in two hours early. I was then told I would receive the parts for my sunroof in the mail and could just install them myself. Four days later, a coolant light came on and a breakdown detected warning on my dash. Ive now take to my car to a different dealership who is completely horrified by my experience and says that the Auxiliary fan in my car probably needs replaced along with a host of other issues. The service manager could not believe that they said they would mail the parts for my sunroof and immediately noticed the giant stain they left. I'm supposed to be driving to see my dying grandfather in a few days but they don't know if my vehicle will be ready or safe to drive. DO NOT GO TO NORTH HOUSTON MERCEDES. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I guess because of the used car shortage even high end dealerships are treating customers like they went to Bob's used car lot. More

Absolute horrible experience. I bought and paid for a car. Went the next day to pick it up only to be told it was sold to someone else. Nobody seemed to care. ANYONE THINKING OF ORDERING A NEW MB FROM THIS DEALER ANYONE THINKING OF ORDERING A NEW MB FROM THIS DEALER READ FIRST: I went to the dealership to look at a vehicle and they were selling it above stic ANYONE THINKING OF ORDERING A NEW MB FROM THIS DEALER READ FIRST: I went to the dealership to look at a vehicle and they were selling it above sticker because it’s a popular car which I understand if I want it right now I have to pay a premium. The dealership and salesman Alphonso Carrillo told me the only way you can purchase this car at sticker is you have to order it from MB but it can take 12-18 months. Fine, fast forward 18 months and my vehicle gets here. In the interim I’ve received multiple emails with the purchase price and updates, etc AT STICKER. I show up to pick up my car and lo and behold the salesman says there is a 20000 “market adjustment fee” on the vehicle. What??? I didn’t buy the one 18 months ago when I could have bc I didn’t want to pay the fee and now you want to charge me for it anyway? The salesman said sorry I know we told you there would not be a fee but we are going to charge it anyway because we are lying, greedy, xxxx of a dealership. Basically after waiting 18 months you can either pay the 20000 for the car you spent hours specking, paying a deposit, and ordering and the only reason the dealership got the vehicle was because of your order, or I can get lost. The general manager Ivan said if you don’t want the car and pay the 20k I will sell it in hours for 30k or more. So of course I walked away. But here’s the kicker, I said well at least you can give me a ride home since I was planning on driving this car home. And the GM of a MB autonation dealer said, why should we you don’t have uber? This is the way they treat their customers. This is the level of integrity of this dealership. If anyone is ever considering ordering a MB please reconsider using MB Houston north as they will not honor their word and once your car gets there they will add all these fees to the car just because they know you have already vested a lot of time and energy into the ordering process and waited patiently and most people will just pay it because they don’t want to wait again. But as a matter of principle don’t let these people get away with it. Honesty and integrity should still matter. More
