A couple of weeks ago, I traded in my 2018 Acura MDX for a 2021 Infiniti QX80 at this dealership. I have purchased used cars before, but since I was going to spend more than $60K on a vehicle this time, I t a 2021 Infiniti QX80 at this dealership. I have purchased used cars before, but since I was going to spend more than $60K on a vehicle this time, I thought I would go to "reputable" dealership. Not so. I had no idea a Mercedes-Benz dealership could be so sleazy. My decision to purchase a vehicle here has cost me an additional $2k+ in the last couple of weeks. There were signs I should have fled this dealership before I ever entered into a transaction. Immediately, my sales representative seemed uninterested that I was there and even mentioned a barbecue he was hoping to make in time (heaven forbid I purchase a vehicle and keep him from that barbecue). Prior to signing the papers, my husband asked if the car had both key fobs. It turns out, it did not, and there was only one. The sales rep told us he would be sure to get a second fob. However, nearly immediately after we signed, he then told us he would not be able to get us the second fob because we were getting "such a deal." Let me tell you about this "deal." First, the vehicle was priced very similar to others I had seen, even a certified vehicle at an Infinity dealership. However, I wanted this specific car because of the interior and exterior color, not because it was a "great deal." This dealership does not negotiate price, so we went with the listed price. My Acura was traded in at below Blue Book value. It was not a rip off, but it was not some sort of amazing deal. Infinity said a new key fob would cost about $500. If my problem with this dealership had ended at a $500 key fob, I would not be taking the time to write this review. It got worse. A week or so after we brought the vehicle home, we noticed the fog lights would not turn on. My husband inspected the lights and noticed one light also had a chip. Additionally, the chrome above the bumper was slightly bent. We figured it must have been in a mild fender bender, and that was why nothing showed up on CARFAX. At the same time, the sensor notifications on my car seemed to be spazzing out. I have never owned an Infinity before, so I was not sure what to expect in terms of the sensors and notifications. I chalked that up to a learning curb. Less than two weeks into my vehicle ownership, I brushed my car against the door of my garage while backing out. There were no sensor warnings or anything like that. I considered the incident completely my fault and took it to a body shop to have the scuff marks removed. While I was there, the body shop informed me my car was missing the front bumper sensors. The mechanic showed me two holes in the front of my bumper where the sensors should have been. While working on my car, they actually found the front sensors tucked up under the hood and not connected. They also discovered the fog lights and front camera (had no idea I had a front camera), were also not connected. The dealership sold me an unsafe vehicle. My fog lights, sensors and front camera were not hooked up (clearly, it had been in some sort of accident and had work done before). Had the sensors and front camera been hooked up, would I have scraped my car against the garage upon backing out? Who's to say. I am sure it would not have hurt to have had working sensors and a front camera. Driving my car with those items hooked up is a completely different experience. (I can hear and see notifications when I get close to a wall now). I might have expected something like this from a roadside used car lot. But this was a Mercedes-Benz dealership, so I had higher expectations. Maybe I should not have. This dealership holds up to the used car salesman stereotype. More
Quick in/out for my service. The service staff were great to work with. Didn't have a great experience with the sales staff the first time I went there and vowed never to return The service staff were great to work with. Didn't have a great experience with the sales staff the first time I went there and vowed never to return until one chap actually took the time to help. The service staff on the other hand are amazing. More
