I made an appointment to have my Sprinter cruise control repaired. They also performed a couple of recalls. Someone broke my seat during a visit there and they are not taking responsibility for the damages they caused. They returned my car with the seats in a downward position, that's not acceptable and then ca not taking responsibility for the damages they caused. They returned my car with the seats in a downward position, that's not acceptable and then called me a liar by saying I brought my car in with the seats down and already broken. My seats worked perfectly fine before this visit. First it was lugs nuts, they were the only shop working on my tires and they striped them all. I had to replace all 20 lug nuts, the mechanic over torque them. Then the manager told me, I coluld receive a complementary detail because the last mechanic spilled oil all over my engine during an oil change and they are not honoring that. The service prices are not cheap for the quality of work I'm receiving. More
I left my vehicle in response to a recall. They found $2058.47 worth of additional service needs that included, but was not limited to, rounded for simplicity, $40 wiper blades, $14 oil filter They found $2058.47 worth of additional service needs that included, but was not limited to, rounded for simplicity, $40 wiper blades, $14 oil filter, $310 "body and interior repairs," $196 fuel filter, $48 brake fluid, $190 rotate and balance tires, $325 alignment, $60 misc, representing about half the additional cost related to the "recall." Labor was itemized in several places for a total, best I could figure, of $1509. Hope I can go a while before I get another "recall." More
