Peter quoted me a very fair price and I asked him to call me back in 3 weeks ( I had an out of town trip scheduled) to complete the transaction. On the agreed on day he called and we completed the sale. Peter made the purchase easy and the paperwork from Mercedes-Benz of Hilton Head arrived promptly thereafter. I live in Virginia and have a very good Mercedes dealership nearby where I get my car serviced. However, when it comes to buying another Mercedes I will likely return to Nelson Gassman and the other folks at Mercedes-Benz of Hilton Head. They are professional and folks like Peter Forbes and Nelson Gassman are part of an extraordinary sales team that make buying a car or extended warranty pleasant and efficient. More
Took my parents very old Mercedes in for oil change and AC repair. Explained that my parents were 90, on a fixed income and we just wanted to keep the car going as cheaply as possible. They were very understanding and very kind, even offered to pick up the car for service if necessary. My parents used to drive all the way to Savannah for service-so glad I went to this dealership instead! Charlotte Hamlet and Delano Bowens were wonderful to work with-I live in Chicago and also drive a Mercedes and I have never had this level of service and kindness from any dealer. They knew that they are not going to get a car sale from us due to my parents age but they treated me like a brought in a top of the line model-that is how you hope to be treated anywhere you go but is not always the case. I highly recommend this dealership! More

Initially, I panicked imagining exorbitant service fees. Instead I was given a list of the items to address along with the cost of them. Charlotte went through each item to identify those repairs that could wait and which ones were most pressing. She even sent me a coupon to defray the expense. My car has well over 100k miles and thanks to Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head still drives like a dream. More

I had my car serviced 3 times within a period of 3 months. The first time was a rip off. The second occurred three days later. The engine would not fire. It was towed and they determined the gas tank months. The first time was a rip off. The second occurred three days later. The engine would not fire. It was towed and they determined the gas tank was filled with gasoline instead of DIESEL. They put the blame on Kroger although my receipt shows diesel was pumped into my tank. Kroger will not admit liability. I would like to know if anyone was ever told that gas instead of diesel was in their engine. More
I have been using this service center for 5 yrs. My last service contact was James Hammond. This trip I found he was gone and there were all new people in the service dept. When I arrived I was told there would be a $115 fee to look at my vehicle, that would be applied to my repair work should I choose to let them do the repair. When I picked up my vehicle I was told that would not be the case because what I said was my "symptom" was not the actual problem. So this fee was added to my repair bill. I have never paid a "service" charge here before, and feel like I was ripped off. I will never return for service at this dealership. More

The pricing can seem a bit high, but honestly service fees should be a consideration when deciding to purchase any vehicle, so I would definitely not say that the fees are unfair for a Mercedes. Here's the bang your get for your buck that makes prices worth it: 1) Knowledgeable Staff 2) Prompt Service 3) Courteous Service Personel 4) Loaner vehicle 5) Car Wash and Vacum each visit This is a great dealership and will be the only one to service my Mercedes. I'm a single mom with many responsibilities and I appreciate the peace of mind I get when I drop off my car for service. I may not know what the mechanical issue is but I'm always certain it will be fixed. Our family highly recommends the dealership and staff of Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head. Michelle More

The service performed on my car was good (I think ) but I did not leave with the same satisfaction that I have had in the past at a Mercedes dealership. Don't know why staff would be standing around talking to each other when it is obvious there are customers waiting. Barbara O'Connor More
