He was extremely friendly and knowledgable answering our many questions about multiple models! He did not pressure us and told us to call him with any questions (even if we were at another dealership)! Nelson was great! We are now seriously considering Mercedes and would not think of going to anyone else! More

Called back two days later to purchase and they would not honor price given during visit by not even returning call, etc. It was like I offended them by not accepting their gracious price immediately, and them they were going to retaliate. Oh well found better deal elsewhere with more friendly folks. More
Attempting to purchase another Mercedes My Husband and I have owned two Mercedes that we purchased in Charlotte, NC. We have had outstanding experiences with the dealerships here in Charlotte and really enjoy the driving experience of a Mercedes. Recently we were rear ended and had a total loss of our newest Mercedes. Thus bringing us to begin searching for another Mercedes. We have been looking for the right car for our family and do have have to make a rushed purchase due to having alternate vehicles to drive. We have a second home in SC, so while on a business trip my husband stopped by Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head and found a car that he was apparently interested in. However I was unaware that he had done so. I too saw the same car online, obviously we have been married long enough that we like the same things. With this being said I made an EPRICE inquiry as it directs you to do on the Hilton Head MB website. I provided my first and last name; my last name is different than my husband of 20 years. My cell phone number and my work email address; my work email that I give to everyone since is has better firewall protection than my personal email address. I received a lengthy email from Nelson Gassmon describing "their Family environment and high standard of customer care" but it contained no information in regards to pricing. It was sent to my personal email , rather the the work email that I provided and had my home address listed on it, which I did not provide either. The reason I point this out is that the salesperson took the time and initiative to investigate my personal information but provides no information about pricing which was the sole reason of the communication. I called to share this concern with their GM, Rob Montgomery, who to say the least made zero attempt to try to make the situation better. Rob stated " He was not going to say anything to throw his Salesman under the bus." Rob then stated to me " Hasn't your husband been in to inquire about the car?" I am appalled at this! I am a 43 yo female working professional and my inquiry and purchase decisions are often made separately and independently of my husbands. Likewise are my husbands. My marital status was irrelevant. How did he know that my husband came in. Our last names are different and my husband and I did not share with each other that we had inquired about pricing on a car. Again, we do not have to make a rushed purchase because we own 3 additional cars. This dealership apparently spent a fair amount of time researching myself and my husband after we each made independent inquiries. They should really be ashamed of themselves. I closed the conversation with Rob Montgomery sharing with him that I was calling MBNorth America and he said "Okay". I would not recommend this dealership to any female looking for a MB. The most sub par customer service when trying to start out the relationship. Truly cannot imagine how terrible they would treat a customer once they had purchased. Best experience I had electrical problems, service was prompt and complete; diagnostic of the electrical defect was remedied very quickly, received a loaner car whil I had electrical problems, service was prompt and complete; diagnostic of the electrical defect was remedied very quickly, received a loaner car while car was being serviced; my telephone calls to the service department were quickly responded to, in a professional manner. I am totally pleased with the professional service I received and with my interaction with JD McClure and Charlotte Hamlet. Service occurred the week of September 22, 2014. More
