BigDuss01, After investigating your review we disagree with your assessment. We couldn't attach the picture we have going through DealerRater, but your manifold clearly shows a crack that had attempted to be repaired by someone using epoxy. Our test verified unmetered air entering the manifold. Based on the age, condition, and high mileage of your vehicle it is likely that there are multiple air leaks in the system. 111/27/24 As a result of Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head SC having the opportunity to read my review, they have responded to me. They have apologized for the problems I had with thier dealership's service. They have refunded the amount of their service bill and the amount my of my tow bill from SC to FL. You can see by my other dealer ratings on this site, this is my first complaint, the rest are compliments. I can compliment Mercedes Benz of Hilton Head now for recognizing the problems I encountered at their service center, and for reversing the charges I had incurred. I felt that at the time at their dealership I had no choice but to issue this complaint over the situation, and I am pleased now with its results.

With surrounding Mercedes dealerships not taking service appointments until late December we have received an influx in business. While we are not putting customers off who need repairs and maintenance during the holiday travel season this has created some delays with service times. Next year we will begin construction on our new facility which will increase our service capacity and better regulate job completion time.
