This should literally be a 5 Star review. Heck maybe even a 10 star review but due to the lack of customer service from two horrid MB of Henderson staff, they lost a few stars. First, the positive. a big Thank You to Chad Bartel from Mercedes-Benz of Henderson for his AMAZING customer service skills and taking the time to make me feel like I was part of the team. My son and I were on a road trip from Seattle to Phoenix when my MBUX navigation suddenly went out. I stopped by the dealership because it is a Fletcher Jones Facility and I expected someone would be able to at least take a look at my navigation and give me some idea of the problem with my 3 week old GLE. I enter the service area and ask an advisor for assistance. I unfortunately did not get his but will always remember his face for his negative and dismissive attitude.. I explained my issue and my dilemma and rather than offer to take a look, he says he will need the car for two hours and has no idea what it is. I asked him if he could take a look at it to see if it was an easy fix and he flat out said no. Total Jerk. Luckily, I approached a second advisor and ran into Chris Bartel. Chris was amazing. He was kind and listened to my issue and asked if he could look at my GLE. When I started up my car, the issue resolved itself. Chris explained that with all of the 'bug splatter' covering my sensors, it probably caused the system to malfunction and if I keep them clean for the remainder of my trip, I should not see an issue. Well, he was right. Once I gave the car a good wash, the issue vanished. A huge thanks to Chris for his Customer First attitude. He is a HUGE asset for this facility. This is the experience and service I expect from ANY Mercedes-Benz dealership. My next stop in the dealership was to buy a keychain for my son. The gentleman in the part department was slammed with calls and customers. There was a woman behind him drinking coffee and surfing the internet and I asked her if she could assist me and she immediately declined and told me it was, 'Not her job' and that I would 'Need to be patient and it will not be much longer.' Unreal. You would think when someone see's a customer waiting to make a purchase that they would be willing to assist. Not this woman. After 20 minutes of waiting and watching her sip her coffee, I was finally able to check out. The funny thing is, once the parts contact got me the keychain, he passed me off to the same lazy woman to ring me up. MB of Henderson need to provide staff training to its team so they know the value of customer service. If they were smart, they would have Chris Bartel lead the training. He is an asset and the other two employee are just there to collect a paycheck. More
