The dealership is very clean, everyone is so attentive, the people are so nice and everyone is always worrying about how you are feeling. Now at the moment of going to finance, we were asked 18k for down p the people are so nice and everyone is always worrying about how you are feeling. Now at the moment of going to finance, we were asked 18k for down payment, my wife Janet Rivas, went to the house to pick up the money, we were going to give 20k to help lower the monthly payments since we got a higher interest rate, at this port it was like 7pm, the baby was crying, my mom was making a fit because I called her to tell her she needed to sign the Hyundai trade paper work, my wife got home and instead of making sure they envelope she was getting she got confused and got the wrong one, that had $14,500, she was nervous and in a rush, she took out $500, which she thought she was taking out the $4,500, which were suppose to be taken out in hundreds since there were 20 dollar bills and got the other envelope of 10K, so now there’s $24,500, she took our $500 instead of $4,500. She put it in an envelope that was white and was noted with 10,000. We finished at around 8 to 8:30 pm it was late and we didn’t even think about counting the money with the finance guy, which was our error, we trusted him in that if someone was off we would be told. We came home happy with our new car, the next morning, i asked my wife why there was $500 sitting on the safe and she explained the transaction she had done and we realized the math was wrong and that there were an extra 4k in the envelope that was given to him (the finance guy) my wife called shamier the next morning and asked if he had heard about anything and if there was anyway he can ask or let him know and shamier said we had to wait till Monday to actually find out if the error was caught but to rest assure, we would be told on the next business day. On Monday morning we went to the dealer ship to finish signing and get the whole package finished up, and the finance guy said there was no extra 4k, which I’m sorry was not true, my wife had just made those 4,500 that day and as soon as she finished working we went to Mercedes, meaning the money was not misplaced elsewhere, the finance guy showed us the machine “count” in two different scans which sorry to say the machine counts all the money in sequence there was no necessity to count in two parts, he agreed there were 20s 10s but that there was only $20,000 he also said he left at like 10pm which is odd because if the machine counts there’s no need to stay almost 2.5 hours after that. Also, I know for a fact he counted the money before actually putting it in the machine to get counted and scanned for the security box registry. It’s our word against his and of course since it’s cash, since it was our wedding gift, there’s no one of proving, but if there is the minimal chance of looking into this matter and checking cameras where ever you have them it would be greatly appreciated, I lost 4K for trusting the wrong people, because if I would have been 4K short I would have received a call the SAME DAY asking for the money, because I was going to give 10k that day and 10k the following Monday and was told I would not be able to take the car until the full down payment was given. I’ve cried all week because I am devastated on how things like this can happen and someone can just lie to another one’s face and nothing gets done, he didn’t even consider asking if I wanted to speak to someone to get shown the cameras to make me feel better, at least to prove that maybe I was wrong, which also proved to me that there was a lie and the 4k where there and I was played. So if this can get escalated and someone looks into this matter I would greatly appreciate it, I might have lost the 4k but I know this won’t happen to someone else, because I hope more security matters get put into place the next time someone actually has to give this much down payment. More
